He DOES own and run his own business, they even have pension funds. His apartment might be run down but it's clean and tidy and decorated with pictures of his loved ones. He can cook and clean (look me in the eye and tell me Loona has ever done chores. His bald ass is probably cleaning fur and feathers out of the bath drain now). He has a calendar he writes future plans into and keeps on top of appointments. He's sooooo patient as a dad with Loona and went to pick her up from a party no questions asked even after having a terrible night. He's extremely competent at his actual job which must require regular exercise and training.

When you write down on YT something like "defence of helluva boss" you will have 50 different videos about defending Stolas and 3 'bout Blitz...

So many people seem to be unable to see things as complex and hold multiple truths at once; i think it's because the target audience for HB is 20-somethings who likely don't meet Real People as often as they should. There's a plethora of reasons this would be the case so ion judge, but to some people, a jerk is just a jerk.

Honestly, if a love triangle happens in Season 3, I won’t be able to defend Viv or her writing anymore. It would be completely ridiculous. Vassago serves the narrative so much better as a supporting character—someone who helps Stolas regain his power, his status, his daughter, etc. The biggest complaint people have with this show is already the excessive romantic drama, and based on Viv’s writing patterns, if a love triangle did happen, it would probably take up at least 50% of the screen time.

And as much as I hate to say it—as a huge Stolitz fan—what Stolas needs right now is a friend, not another love interest. (That said, he still needs Blitzø too.)

Vassago could serve the story really well as a mentor figure for Octavia, or as a neutral presence that reminds Stolas who he used to be. And to the people using the fact that Viv liked some Stolago fanart as “proof” of anything romantic—I hate to break it to you, but knowing Viv, she’d 100% troll us. If I were the creator, I’d probably do the same, just to make fun of how absurd the idea is.

During the trial in “Mastermind”—the only time we’ve ever seen Vassago—his defense of Stolas was completely platonic. Some people are speculating that he might be interested in Stolas romantically, platonically, or as family, but there’s another possibility: maybe none of those apply. Maybe Vassago simply saw injustice done to another prince and chose to speak up. He came across as a fair, lawful, and principled character. I truly believe he would’ve done the same thing for anyone else in that position.

Most of my potential love for this character is going to come from his relationship with Stolas—as a friend. That would be incredible. I would love him for that. Anything more than friends, though, would really rub me the wrong way.

Making Vassago a platonic anchor for one of the main characters would set up a great foundation for expanding him—give him hobbies, opinions, morals, flaws, a voice, friends, family, things he cares about. Let us get to know him, instead of forcing him into someone else’s arc.

We’ve been waiting so long for Stolitz to finally be on equal footing—and now, they finally are. The entire second half of Season 2 was dedicated to those two characters and their relationship. This isn’t even a “will-they-won’t-they” anymore. We know they’re endgame.

A love triangle now would be a waste of time and a distraction from other, far more interesting elements of the story.

Making Stolas date or be romantically interested in another prince would completely wreck his character development. It would send him right back to where he started—having everything handed to him without effort. But right now, he needs this “peasant arc.” He needs the struggle. He needs the reality check. He needs to confront the fact that his problems aren’t just everyone else’s fault.

Stolago would undo all of that. It would teach Stolas nothing. It would reinforce the same delusion he’s always had: that he’s the victim, that Blitzø is always wrong, that he deserves love without accountability.

I’m literally begging for a proper four-episode apology and redemption arc for Stolas—because what he did to Blitzø matters. The damage he caused in Stolitz hurts. And pairing him with someone new, especially another powerful prince, would just stomp on that entire arc. It wouldn’t just undo Stolas’s growth—it would put Blitzø’s through a hydraulic press.

Blitzø has changed—he’s actively trying to be better—because he finally started to believe that Stolas truly loves him. If Stolas turned around and fell for someone else, it would only confirm every horrible thing Blitzø already believes about himself: that he’s replaceable, that he’s only seen as a sex toy, that he meant nothing to Stolas.

Not to mention—Andrealphus x Vassago makes way more narrative sense anyway. It has better chemistry, better tension, and doesn’t sabotage the core relationship the show has been building since day one.
