I started this blog to get attention and acknowledgement for my photography, but I've changed my mind.

America, we've got bigger issues to deal with. Racism is still prevalent in society, and everything we do arouses protest and chaos. Those are HUGE problems. But there's something that really hits home with me that I think needs a lot more attention. 

DOWN SYNDROME, PEOPLE! TRISOMY 21 (Nondisjunction), MOSAICISM, AND TRANSLOCATION. Children that are born with this obstacle are amazing blessings, but a lot of people never get to enjoy them. And you want to know why? Because they ABORT them!!! It sickens me to say that 90% of all pregnancies that are diagnosed with Down Syndrome are aborted. Those children never got the chance to be who they wanted to be. Everyone gets sick sometime in their life, so what's the difference with them? We're all different and that's a good thing. Nobody wants to be the same as everyone else. It's ludacris! So the real question is-- Why are we asking unborn children to be normal when "normal" isn't even the norm!? Think about that. 

In my heart I know murder is wrong and that abortion is murder. We are given the right, as women, to do what we want with our bodies. A lot of women do choose to get abortions and that's their choice, but it's a choice that I think is wrong. What if their parents had aborted them? They wouldn't have made the impact on people's lives and the world that they have. What about these babies with an extra chromosome? They're lives too with their own set of obstacles. Just because their obstacles are different than yours doesn't give you the right to take away their chance at life.
