In my previous post I showed off the tools one uses to repair and clean vintage lenses. Case in point - I have a collection of PenFT lenses from the the 1960s that I love using nowadays on my Hypercolor Infrared modified Sony NEX 6. Unfortunately over the nearly sixty years these lenses have been around, haze and fungus has appeared on optics. About two weeks ago I spent six hours taking them apart and cleaning them until the glass was like new and instead of the hazy mess they once produced now crisp and detailed images are again what they create. They should be good for another 60 years. In order for the 720nm bw images 20/3.5, 25/2.8, 38/1.8, 100/3.5 and the 150/4.
