another year, come and gone. idr what i even talked about last time, or what i wanna talk about now. grampa died, my car died and i had to buy a new one, sister broke up with her 5year bf and moved back home and has been leaning on me for support (which im happy to give! its just been a Lot), ive had some depression Issues, my chronic illness is Not Getting Better (pretty close to a long covid diagnosis, waiting on one more test coming up next monday before we lock anything in), ive gotta get wisdom tooth surgery next friday, apollos been sick and i think i need to take him to the vet—stuffs been interesting!

not all bad though! ive spent really great time with my siblings and friends, gone to a couple cons this year, got to meet colleen clinkenbeard and get her signature on something i drew!!! im finding small victories to be happy about and trying to just carry on knowing that those make all that difficult/bad stuff less difficult and less bad. it sounds like more bad than good has happened in the last year, but idk we always Remember the bad more vividly than the good, and im blessed to know i have enough good to like. forget about? that sounds bad LMAO but the good in my life is much quieter than the bombast of a funeral or a messy breakup im helping a sibling through, and im grateful for quiet good

idk what im on about lmao, its my friends im grateful for is my point. i love my friends and this past year wouldve been pretty unbearable without them!

bing bong i am not dead !! i collabed with the incomparable, the inimitable, the ever incandescent @oracleofsecrets for the AA4 fanzine, here Comes Justice! Turnabout Debut! i drawed these images to go with their INCREDIBLE newspaper article writing/layout, and it all turned out so fantastic!! im so glad we worked on this together, it was a very big learning experience for me (i do not do well with deadlines on art! and i hate painting! fjdklsfjlaks) but it was overall so much fun, and i couldnt be happier with how our shared piece turned out! so here are my full res pieces available fo detailed viewing, and u can see where i cut corners on stuff since the images ended up much smaller on the layout, esp zak xD but i still think they turned out good!

late twenties is hard. im having a rough go of it. im Surviving, ostensibly, and i have good friends who love me and mean so much to me, including the ones Here that i havent spoken to or played with on the dashboard in months! so im trying not to be too boohoo about the emotional problems im dealing with. ill be fine, ill make it through like i always do, and if ur reading this post right now, i love u!! ❤️❤️

idk if/when ill come back to blogging For Real, i dont intend on doing endless scrolling once i finish this post or any time in the future—i am in fact going to Close tumblr and continue watching king of the hill (rest in power jonathan joss 🙏) as soon as i hit post—and im going to make some birthday spaghetti and have a cake later! maybe ill post it, maybe i wont, idk yet

but i guess i should just be grateful that ive made it this far. i was talking to pepper the other day about how ten years ago i never expected to make it past like 20, but here i am 27 still going on strong, and i intend to keep making it every year for the rest of time! so even if im not around Here all the time, u can bet ur bippy im still kickin it Somewhere
