This thanksgiving I’m grateful for Fiyero’s tight ass pants in Wicked and Fiyero’s tight ass pants only❤️
Why are people shocked Fiyero is fruity as hell has no one seen the original broadway actor? Played him like the fruitcake he is
In Dead Poets Society, it depicts how these boys were so trapped and in some cases abused to the point where a hint of living a different way was so unfamiliar and tantalizing that some (semi-understandably) took it too far, such as Knox and Charlie, in this essay I will-
I’m sorry but Billy doing the Wanda Walk of Shame™️ just to get into his fucking Subaru was the funniest shit ever
Hozier’s yearning, semi disturbing imagery, and ability to make being just so incredibly horny sound pretty prove he is the Roman poet Catullus reincarnated, in this essay I will-

Saltburn is not an ‘eat the rich’ movie.
Obviously, rich people suck- it’s 2024, we all know that. And many films in the last few years reference this in some way: Knives Out, The Menu, even the Purge.
But these are movies made by..well..the rich. All mainstream movies these days are. They’re all great movies I love, but their attempts at condemning the wealthy are…a bit half assed. Most ‘eat the rich’ media centers around the middle and lower class bringing the rich ‘down to our level’ so to speak, and showing them that, yeah, life sucks. Get your head out of your ass and be human.
Honestly, I feel like Saltburn is more realistic in many ways (ignoring the grave, bathtub, and vampire scenes of course) in how it depicts the REAL fantasy many middle and lower class people have: living the life we condemn. Having a taste of that power. Hell, I myself have said I’d ‘do anything for a hundred bucks’.
It’s not about (and more importantly never pretends to be about) good people getting their dues. It’s about awful people doing awful things to worse people. No one is the hero teaching the rich a lesson we all root for. No one is an evil monster completely deserving of horrible deaths and exile.
It’s, in a way, about life. A documentary of sorts.
A documentary about monsters, and depravity, and obsession, and desperation, yes.
But..don’t we all sometimes crave the catharsis releasing our inner monster- inner Minotaur- could bring?
Saltburn and greek mythology and Ariadne and the Minotaur and Icarus and the family representing the Olympians holy shit
