Large scale LED installation in a glorious old monastery in Boston. It is now called The Overlook at St Gabriel’s.
It's 20ft x 4ft. 140 tubes controlled via Falcon F16v3 and the light sequence is based around a perlin noise algorithm.
The motion is designed to be slow a subtle for this installation.

This augmented reality application has been developed to work with the artist catalogue:
“Alan Rath: Virtual Unreality”.
The project was created in conjunction with Hosfelt Gallery and the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art.
To activate the application, point the phone’s camera at the large color plate images featured in the catalogue to view a live action video of the work of Alan Rath.

This year we added some additional sculpted elements to the Garage Mahal art car. They were 7 CNC plasma cut steel diamond shapes illuminated from within. Each diamond had it’s own LED controller (Pixelblaze) and cycled through a series of pre-programmed patterns. The LEDs were two trips of APA102 (144 LEDs per meter) running in parallel. I created cardboard prototypes to test sizing and level of detail using laser cutters.
