Stem cut to size and new crown fitted, watch finally finished!

Enzo Ferrari was just always right about cars and how to make them... no spreadsheets and accountants in Maranello, just engineers and designers developing fast, beautiful, loud cars.  Nowhere in my life influenced and taught me more as a person than my time in Italy working for the prancing horse.  Fills my heart with pride every time I see one of the red cars my family in Maranello made...

A few more brilliant Zaha Hadid works... loved seeing her old notebooks with shapes, colours and lines in, no buildings as such in there at all.  How she transformed these sketches into award-winning architecture is mind-blowing creative genius

Go and see this exhibition by the world’s greatest living artist, it’s phenomenal to understand how he see’s the world in terms of space, colour, perspective and time

Henry Moore’s ‘Locking Piece’ sculpture down at Millbank looks stunning against the backdrop of James Bond’s office... then on to see Hockney at Tate Britain, one of the finest collections of paintings I’ve ever seen.  The exploration of perspective and water especially are (quite literally) eye opening.

Here’s the ETA 6497 - originally a manual-wind pocket watch movement made by Unitas, later adopted and modified by Panerai for their OPXI movement that was fitted to the PAM1

Working on the latest project today - Panerai California-esque dial with ETA 6497 movement.  New hands are on the way, next job is to shorten the stem and add a Panerai-style crown

The Watches of Knightsbridge catalogue is like a candy store... That Fifty-Fathoms civilian dial alone has got me salivating...
