So there's this really fun graphic novel called Spider-Man: Hooky, where Peter meets this little Peter Pan-like magical girl called Marandi and they go to this dreamlike place she's from called Cloudsea to defeat a giant cockroach that keeps evolving into lovecraftian monsters.
It's one of my favorite Spidey stories because it's something so outta the box and the dynamic between Peter and Mandy is really cute but it seems like no one's ever heard of it.
I wanted to draw them as if they were from a 2000's cartoon because this premise just feels like something that would happen in a cancelled 13 episode animated show from that time
