and if I said that the infantilization of Phil is partially because he has a lot of traits in common with autistic people.

Phil Lester has shot right up to the top of my list of internet people who I think have dyspraxia. Dan made no less than 5 comments about his lack of coordination and/or depth perception and/or spatial awareness in one single podcast episode. That is an average of one dyspraxic Phil comment every 8.5 minute. Phil, you don't need a professional diagnosis or even a self-diagnosis. You have me. And I say you are dyspraxic af.

I'm probably going to talk more about this at a later date but so much of what I loved from the video version of the podcast specifically is that I can see phil both masking and unmasking so clearly. like when Dan is talking for like a solid 30 seconds I can see phil just like shifting around just slightly so he's still acceptably still and focused and listening. I can see him desperately trying to figure out where to look and accidentally staring at the camera too long. towards the end and especially in the patreon section I can see how his body language is getting bigger and louder and he's moving around more because he's excited.

Dan and Phil's relationship is really and truly just one big wrestling match between autism and adhd
