By that time, though, LOL the dam had broken and I couldn't shut up about Phantom!! I'd kept my new obsession a cherished, sacred secret while at the away camp. But from the moment I told Mom about it, LOL I could no longer keep it in!! And I was constantly singing the Title Song to myself, too, since I could no longer listen to it on that tape. I hadn't yet gotten my own, although I would soon!

I was looking forward to the wedding because I love occasions! But I was also bummed to be leaving camp early. For one thing, by that point I was completely obsessed with Phantom! But I knew I'd have to leave the tape I'd been listening to all week behind. LOL Although, I was way too wrapped up in the immediacy of the fire of the obsession to be distraught about it. Still, I knew there was going to be a drought until I could get a tape of my own.

But also, for the last night of the week, the camp was doing a "Halloween in August" night. And I was bummed that I was going to miss it!! Halloween is my favourite holiday because you can go around in costume with impunity. So I was really looking forward to that! We'd had a "Christmas in August" the night before which had been fun. But I thought the "Halloween in August" would be way cooler!
