these tears run into the ocean

all these traits very atypical of current justice were carried over from a fursona i had in early 2022, vince. i even found a drawing suggesting that vince *is* justice.

he's tied to some things in my life i'd rather forget so now he's completely separate from justice and up for sale on my toyhouse.

back to those sketches of stripey haired justice. a couple of artworks in between and suddenly BAM in 2023 current justice happened

like i still don't know why this was so instantaneous i just struck gold. actually wait. addendum: i just found 2 more drawings from before these

the first instance of justice with a sword... this brings me to my next point. the tice was always intended to be edgy for no reason and (originally) a mary sue. why has he got a sword? i don't know, i thought it would be cool. there is no reason for him to have a sword and be killing offscreen people with it.

from this point (mid-2023) on i did a lot of back-and-forthing until i came to his current look. i remember imagining him as a scientist and later metalworker (??) who "snapped". no further info, and he's not even depicted with another character (with one exception) until 29th december 2025:
