I have my own agenda

Marcel frowned at the stranger’s words as he turned to face them, with his lips pressed into a thin line. “And don’t you look like a delighted sight. Your date ditched you?” He assumed the worse must’ve happened with an attitude like that, but he could be wrong. However, something about this women seemed off or maybe to say… strange. “Or did you lost your way back?” Marcel teased, chuckling lightly as his eyes narrowed slightly.

There was part of Marcel who wished he could at least win one of the basket shown the other day, despite how may he denies that it wasn’t his original intention. Without a date, he decide to still partake in the event gathering at the field where the crowds seemed larger than he was originally thought. With his hands tugged at either sides of his pockets, he took a brief look around and sighed. Wondering how long this peace would last, it didn’t take long for him to find the little bar stall and ordered himself a small drink. 

The dates were meaningless to the woman, her true goal being to try and find people with useful information. And what better way then to literally buy their time for a few useful conversations. Though she’d yet to go and tend to her date, instead choosing to get a drink first, unable to stop herself noticing the man standing nearby. “Well, don’t you look a sorry sight.” Nadia murmured, eyebrows raising at the stranger. 

Bubbles, champagne, candles...it would almost seem like Nadia Petrova had gone soft for the woman she was sleeping with. Impossible, of course. She didn’t keep people around for too long, they were a weakness - but Valarie had caught her attention. Slipping the silk robe off of her shoulders and letting it drop to the floor she looked at the blonde lying in the bath, lips parting with a small sigh of satisfaction, dipping her toes into the warm water before moving to sit in front of the other woman. “Now, isn’t this relaxing? Just what we needed” she cooed, eyes shamelessly looking at Valarie’s figure. Even masked by bubbles it was easy to see, and Nadia silently appreciated it as she passed a champagne flute to the blonde, raising her own in a silent cheers. 

Gia felt someone’s hand on her back and she looked at the person. “I know there are a couple of bed and breakfasts around here but you don’t seem like the type who is into that,” She explained.

Nadia tried her best to not snicker at the mention of the bed and breakfast, nodding her head in approval. “You;re right, I’m not. Bed and breakfasts aren’t entirely my style.”

Jenna heard a knock at her office door and looked at her planner, seeing he had no one on her schedule. “Come in,” She said, knowing she had an open door policy.  She saw an unfamiliar brunette and looked at her. “Something I can help you with,”

There’s been tons of different Sylvia had met over the years she had been travelling around, and from her experience— someone like this often means trouble, and she likes adventitious trouble. “Oh dear.” Sylvia replies, putting some distance between them as she turn the greet the stranger with a smile. “Can I get you a drink as an apologise?” She suggests, it was the least she could do to try and brighten up their day. Not to mention, the person Sylvias playing against owes her money anyway so she have extra.

Nadia looked the woman up and down with silent interest before allowing a smile to come to her lips. “That would be wonderful, yes.” she nodded in approval. She needed to make connections in this little town, and bonding over a drink or two would certainly help that. 

As the hand went through him, he simply sighed, turning around, “you know, I hate having to break the ‘I’m dead’ card straight off the back but hey, you get what you get,” he shrugged, wondering how she’d react. “No clue, could try to find out together if you wanted?”

Nadia’s eyebrow arched as she looked at her head, withdrawing it immediately. Ghosts weren’t uncommon, but it had been a while since she had crossed paths with one. “There’s no need to worry...so am I.” she said simply, little care in her voice. “Thank you. It’s been quite an effort to get to this little town.”

Vera pulled back from the neck she had been drinking from and flipped her over her shoulder to see the woman standing at the end of the alley. “You want your turn,” Vera said. This was reckless but she was acting out. She earned it.

With a hand on her hip Nadia frowned in the direction of the other vampire. Sloppy. “I do not like to share my food.” she replied cooly, her accent wrapping around her words as she looked the other woman up and down. 

Who knew Enzo would end up with his table turned on him, this was never supposed to happen. Feelings were never supposed to be caught and he definitely wasn’t supposed to be helping baby vamp Caroline before and after the first full moon, it would seems everything turned out the way Anna wanted at the end after all.

Despite it all, the show must go on. Once Enzo had heard the straight rules of curfew and vervain laced water was gone for a couple of days now, he was one of the few who took the risk and chance given in visiting the Grills in hope to try and find someone to feed on. Fresh blood is always better than those blood bags, and not to mention – Enzo was growing bored as baby sitting isn’t exactly his thing.

“I’ll have a bourbon.” He said to the bartender with one of those charming smile, taking a seat on the stool as he glanced around before his gaze set on the person beside him. “Don’t you look familiar?”

The moment the man stepped into the Grill Nadia had already silently observed him. It was a habit since she had been hunting for so many years, to observe the passersby for signs of usefulness. But, like most, he didn’t keep her attention, the brunette returning to focus on her drink, bringing the bourbon to her lips. 

The strangers words caught her attention, the vampire looking him over with momentary concern. Did he know her? He shouldn’t. “Not likely.” she said with a dismissive tone, lips pursed as she turned slightly to address him. The man might be useful. “Though if you wished to get to know me I wouldn’t say no.” she said in a lower tone, eyes flashing with amusement.
