okay kinda gross so now is your chance to scroll..

i can’t stop removing my own nails, specially my second toe… firstly i wash my foot like i would my hand, and then i go in with clippers and tweezers until i’m only pulling skin out from the hole where my (very very short) nail stub is, it doesn’t grow very long naturally anymore and i can only assume it’s due to the years of abuse the nail bed has received, also i can barely feel the nail anymore when i’m ripping it out. i’m honestly pretty sure that one of these next few times it just won’t grow back in at all, and honestly i’m both okay and upset about it because it’s only this toe that i pick at and i worry that if it stops i’ll move onto another toe
