오랜만이야 ! Adrienne and Yoseob
Hands rested at his waist as he stood outside the cafe with his eyes shut. He was already fifteen minutes late to the meeting he’d called with his ex-acquaintance and yet he still couldn’t bring himself to move. All you have to do is go in, sit and nod a few times. You can do it, stop stalling.” He needed to get it over with, be free of the boy for good and yet was it ever that easy with him? Checking his phone he realized another five minutes had been wasted and shooting Junhyung a quick message to let him know he’d made it he slide the phone into the pocket of his pants before taking a deep breath and opening the door.
The place wasn’t quite crowded as he had hoped it would be and one glance across the room set his eyes upon a face he hadn’t seen in more than a semicentury. An amused glance was reflected back at him and dare he say it a bit taunting?
Even steps carried the shigofumi through the tables and he slid into his seat with a nod to the other. “Adrienne.”
Of course the one he’d once called his own would be late to their first reunion coffee. Leaned back in his seat the demon’s fingers elegantly strummed in time to the piano playing in the background of the cafe as he eyed the door for the other.
Finally
The door opened and in entered the face he knew and had surely missed over the last few years. Not much had changed in the others closed off expression towards him and as he sat down a smile lit up his lips.
“You are truly a sight for sore worn down eyes. It’s been far too long.” Motioning for the waitress to prepare their order he sat up in his seat. “I had took the time that had passed to go ahead and order you an Ethiopian blend of coffee, very black and quite hot if I remember right?” The tight nod he received confirmed he still knew the other quite well. “Now, how have you been Yoseobbie?”
