Who’s doing your stage make-up, if I can ask? I need to produce a one-act for one of my classes and I can’t find a decent make-up artist anywhere.

Ummm… I have no idea.

“Oh, yeah? And how many are you chasing already?”

All of them!

“Oh, wow. Never heard that one before. You sound like a goddamn moron. Why don’t you take your ‘PMS’ bullshit and shove it up your ass? Y'know? Where it belongs.”

“Nah I pass, I don’t feel like having to deal with all of those things all at once.”

“Nice just doesn’t fit the description of me, okay? If I don’t express my venom at least once a day, I get constipated.”

PMS!

Well they talk just as much as girls do, if not more so.

Impossible. I could bet on it.

I’ll just roll with it, really.

“Can’t disagree with you on that, fortunately there’s plenty of attractive ones from what I’ve seen.”

Peter perceived how hard the girl was trying to push her limits and it still wasn’t enough to make him back down. On the contrary, it made him power boost and use his slim build to his advantage. With his agile body, he was nearly flying, noticing how he gradually outdistanced her as he smiled, finding funny how she underestimated him. The winner adrenaline made him shout, “Woo hoo!” he childishly said. As he looked back and saw her running behind him, his inner strength grew bigger, making him feel like the leader once again, “As you wish!” he finally said, thinking how challenges were awesome to take advantage of and live them to the fullest.

Mara suddenly pulled a devilish smile and turned back to Peter.  “Race ya.”  Before could respond, the took of at top speed in the direction of town.  

Almost synchronously to the girl’s words, Peter began to run behind her as if every nerve had the reflex to win the competition she had just started. “Not for long!” he shouted confidently, still behind her, feeling how his body was fuelled in adrenaline and feeling the need to surpass the now few meters between them.

Mara rolled her eyes.  “Ugh, boys.  You never stop, do you?” She laughed and skipped off in the direction of town, knowing he would follow.

“Why would we?” he said with a chuckle yet puzzled on the possibility of another response. Out of the girl’s movement, he remembered his cigarettes, apparently his mind could only focus on one thing at a time, and followed her counting on the fact that she knew where she was going.

Good to know, it will come in very handy. Wait, we’ll?

Doubt it. I don’t think any of those nicknames will come up in this conversation.

My sentiments exactly.  Come on, then, pipsqueak.

Pip–squeak? Well that’s a first. But I mean, I’ve been called worst.

Well, I better go with you just in case your fake ID doesn’t work.

Lead the way, the girl’s dorm rooms are unfortunately unknown to me.
