DAY 7: @petermj-week | Free Day

Determined to make the blow of having to go on out a mission a little easier, Peter invents a game for his 5 year old, Nora.

“How about this,” he begins, letting her curl up against his chest. “Since I’ve been gone the last few bedtimes and I might be gone for a little while more, why don’t we pick a place to meet in your dreams tonight?”

Nora could decide where in her dreams they would meet up, and she could decide what they would do while they hung out together. By the time she wakes up the next day she’s excited to see him again, and the breakfast conversations that had once been met with resentment because he’d missed yet another night had turned into excitement that she could tell him all about the adventures they went on together when he was out patrolling.

“I think maybe we should meet on a roller coaster tonight,” she says, twisting his wedding ring around his finger.

Peter's never really been one to visualize places or things, but he can’t help but think about what life would be like in this apartment.

Making it their own. Hanging paintings and arranging furniture and painting walls if they were allowed. Talking about their days, listening to MJ talk about the launches she has and campaigns she’s running while he cooks dinner. Patrolling on clear evenings, leaving from the fire escape while she waits for him to return home.

Peter doesn’t visualize a future often, but he can’t help but play it all out in his mind, his heart swelling at the opportunity to grow old with a girl he met in high school and fell in love with through everything.

Michelle thought she had her wager with Peter in the bag. However, expectations were defied.

Being a hero comes with a lot of responsibilities. But so does being a parent.

DAY 5: @petermj-week | Parent!PeterMJ

The moments as a family of three in the hospital just after having their first baby are a different kind of serene. A bubble that was just for them, the hours learning to be a family before their extended family came to meet their niece and granddaughter, bringing gifts and smiles and welcoming their little girl into a family that has wanted her more than anything for a very long time.

“Welcome to the world, baby,” he whispers. “I’m your dad. I read somewhere that it’s good if you narrate things to your baby so you learn words, and I think it sounds like a good idea. Your mom thinks it’s going to get old, and you’re definitely too young to understand anything right now, but I’m determined to recap everything to you so you feel in the know.”

“Peter Parker, folks. Raging feminist and all-around good dude.” “Stop it,” Peter clearly tries to keep his tone serious. “Don’t do that thing.”  “What thing? I’m not doing a thing.”   “That thing where you refuse to acknowledge how cool you are, so you flip it around instead.”  Something sparks in Michelle's chest. "I don't do that," she mumbles. "That's not something I do." Peter fixes her with a look that she can only barely make out in the darkness of the room, a fond whisper of, “it’s totally is,” that really leaves her with no choice but to elbow him in the ribs. -- Or, Peter and MJ take on teenagehood.

DAY 4: @petermj-week | Friends to Lovers

“I don’t know how else to tell you that I care about you. I want to be here for this. I want you to let me in and let me help. Why can’t you just let me do that?”

For a while, the only sound between them is the water running. Peter chews on his lip, shaking his head. He winces as he cleans the wound just above his eye, trying to blink. “Because if I let you in like this. If I let you see me at my worst, let you help me through these moments that I caused myself, I’m afraid I won’t be able to stop myself from falling in love with you.”

It was common for Wrothians to bond with those they share a rivalry with. Me Jiane just did not expect for things to go beyond that with a human.

DAY 3: @petermj-week | Iconic Moments

“You know,” he begins, his feet padding across the hardwood floors, turning on the kettle. “Out of all the years I’ve been Spider-Man, I’ve never done the one thing I’ve always thought would be so cool to do.”

“Oh yeah?” MJ asks, tucking her feet underneath her. “And what’s that?”

The tea kettle murmurs to life as Peter grabs two mugs from the cabinet, glancing over at her. “I’ve never kissed someone upside down in the rain while I’m Spider-Man.”

Based on Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 1) #122. After Peter lashes out at Mary Jane, she was ready to leave. However, right when she's about to, she starts to ponder her own life up to this point.
