“Because why?” he groaned, frustrated.

"Why are you huffing?" Peter rolled his eyes, annoyed.

"Sorry," he muttered, watching Joe lift his head.

“Dunno,” he shrugged, “He just does that sometimes.”

“He’s looking for Ava,” Peter mumbled, rocking him back and forth.

Peter frowned and lifted Joe up, his nose digging into his shoulder. "What's wrong, little man?" he asked, kissing his head. "A-ah," Joe repeated, whining slightly. Peter sighed, shaking his head.

Peter walked back in to see Joe hugging her back, pouting. "What's wrong?" he muttered, flopping himself down on the couch opposite.

"A-ah!" he said, frustrated as he looked out towards Peter, who hadn't finished yet.

"A-ah," he repeated, trying to climb up beside her.
