Pessimistic Beauty

I COULD NOT STRESSED ENOUGH HOW MUCH I ADORE THIS MOVIE. I cried so much while watching this movie that my eyes literally hurt afterwards haha. It is very difficult to categorise this movie as it is a different kind of love story (spoiler alert). Both the leads were uplifted and inspired by each other, and it is one of the reasons why they have to do what they had to do towards the end. It is also difficult to say whether it was a happy ending because obviously they were not together. But it sends the message that it is a good one for them. It indeed gave me mixed feelings at the end though as it felt right and appropriate in their situation. I love the fact that Joy chose her dreams instead of love, as it was the aspect that she struggling to achieve for years hence I am happy for her choice.

The whole movie gave me an impression that there might be someone that will come into your life, uplift you and will actually help you to improve as a person. It also asks this cliche question of what would you choose: love or your dreams? 

Hey i am back again and decides to return back to my tumblr, and for a few reasons:

1. I have a new job

I have officially a new job and in a different environment (entirely) from what I did last time but I am still working in a shift hours. However, my shift hours includes short week and a long week (I work 2 days in the former and 5 days in the latter). Ever since I started my new job, I have spent most of my off days, well, slacking and sleeping. Hence, I want to try to indulge more in other activities aside from sleeping during my short week. This includes updating my journal, posting in my blog, reading books and probably learn a new language. Since I am still adapting to my new job, learning a new language may delay, but I do still want to take up the challenge. 

Furthermore, I just downloaded a new app on my phone which will help me plan my tasks during my off days, and I hope it will work since I am really really really bad on writing my plans on a paper (we’ll see how it goes).

2. My passion for reading books

has been consistent for this year. I have been making sure to spare some time to read a good book or even a manga...and I’m proud of it. It is good that I managed to do that aspect well, and I hope that it will continue until the end of this year. Recently, I have been fascinated by Asian authors such as Murakami and Ogawa and I have yet to explore that genre. I have been recently made a book tracker and I hope that it will help me to find more books in the future ^^

3. Some updates on being a BTS fan

and I still am a huge ARMY (just in case, you’re curious). It is nearing to Jungkook’s and Namjoon’s birthday and there are loads of fan organised events coming up, but sadly I can only attend a few (due to the fact that I work in a shift hours). I would love to support Jungkookie’s events since he is my favourite maknae and I will probably update on that (in the future, maybe?)

That’s all for updates and I do wish that this will continue since I kinda like writing and stuff like that. Wish me luck ;)

Hello! 2019 has been good to me so far and the month of January definitely hit me with a bang. The best highlight of the month so far was when I attended the BTS Love Yourself concert in Singapore! I’ve been a recent fan of them but I love them already, that I’m willing to attend their concert at Singapore National Stadium. Sadly, I did not take a tons of pictures and videos, as I wanted to soak the moment in my memory FOREVER. I love the Mic Drop stage that I kept dancing throughout (and I attended the concert alone, the guts right?). I did not manage to take a great look on them but I am just so happy to be them, cheering for my loves!

Another highlight is my reconciliation with Netflix, I mean Netflix Singapore just release some good content I would say (although Netflix Japan is still the best). I do love watching movies and my list just keep adding up. The best ones that they’ve added so far was GOBLIN and MY ID IS GANGNAM BEAUTY. I mean I’ve watched them before but I decided to rewatch them again on Netflix (especially GOBLIN!)

Lastly, this month was an eye opener for me to listen and explore more BTS songs. I’ve only liked their title songs before but damn whilst exploring their songs from different album, I know now how relatable they are (their lyrics are just UGH! hehe)
