Summer makes me think of The Summer Hikaru Died.

My fingers itched to draw a companion piece to my first tshd fanart, which I made in winter last year. And just like with the first piece I had tons of fun with the Yoshiki version of this!

This manga and anime means so much to me and I hope I could make it somewhat justice with both of my fanarts (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)

For the Yoshiki-centered artwork I chose a color palette that was much more in my comfort zone with it's pinks and purples, than the greens and teals of the Hikaru-centered artwork c: I like both versions tho and I like that they complement each other!

These drawings are inspired by the concept of "Hanahaki-Disease", a purely fictional disease, that makes flowers grow in your airways, when you suffer from unrequited love (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠) a truly hauntingly beautiful image, that I think fits so well with a lot of Sleep Tokens Songs 🥹

I tried a slightly different color palette than usual, working with more greens instead of my usual pink or red color-choice. It was challenging for me, but also very refreshing and I enjoy looking at these shades of green, so I had to actually try and paint with these colors, haha. I hope you like it!

Hey there! Thank you so much for your kind words <3<3<3 I am super happy, you are interested in the Charms! In theory they are still available, but for some reason Ko-Fi (where I host my shop) temporarily suspended my account and I have no clue why :( I already contacted the support and am waiting for an answer and hopefully a solution.

I will make a post as soon as my shop is up again! If they decide to permanently close my page (for which I have absolutely no idea, why they should, I am not breaking any of their ToS ueueueueu), it might take a bit more time until I can start selling again, because I'd have to set up a whole new shop on another platform orz Let's just hope, that won't be the case >_<
