Her quaint and cozy little apartment was quiet, apart from the sound of her own gentle humming as Katelyn worked away at getting herself ready before Elijah arrived. Truthfully, she was excited to be going out on a date. Yes it was just a simple bowling date, but that had been by her own suggestion, not his. She got the distinct impression that if she had wanted extravagance, Elijah would not have failed to deliver it to her. Between work, school, and dance, her schedule was quite full, and so she hadnât been out on a date in several months. This wasnât because she was too busy to find the time, but rather because she hadnât met any guys who she considered worthy of giving the little free time that she had. Well, none before Elijah that is. The boy had caught her eye while being at some of her dance rehearsals, and while she had given him her number just for fun, she hadnât really expected anything to come from it. However, once they had started talking, she had been pleasantly surprised by how great he really was, and she hadnât waited long before she had taken it upon herself to ask him if he would take her out. Hearing a knock on the door that she assumed had to be him, she gave her outfit, a black, medium length skirt and white blouse, one last look over in the mirror, before she made her way to the door and pulled it open, a smile already present on her lips.
