This is a VERY passionate rant. If you’re sensitive to the Scarlet Witch, Captain America, Black Widow, or Black Panther being bashed (because I’m positive someone will say that’s what I’m doing), DON’T READ IT. If you do read it and make any hateful comments or or derogatory questions, I’m reporting you. You’ve been warned.

So I’ve been forced to watch the trailers for Infinity Wars and all the promotionals… This is without a doubt the first time I can say I’m not excited for a Marvel movie because the promotional commercial on Disney has me questioning society.

Wanda Maximoff is being painted as a hero when she’s regularly done foul shit and has yet to redeem herself and most likely WON’T because they’re shifting the blame on a relatively innocent character. They’re encouraging little girls to look up to a sociopath who has:

Joined a super-Nazi group WILLINGLY for misguided vengence

Mentally raped a group of people

Made one of said people go on a rampage and kill hundreds

Made the other (with help) create an AI hell bent on destroying the world and then HELPED IT WILLINGLY

Decided to ‘be good’ when she realised the AI’s plans for destruction included her death too

And infatizes herself to not face punishment all while living in the man she’s tortured dime

How the hell is THAT a super heroine girls should look up to?! I don’t get it, especially when she has no redeeming qualities. My friend said her love for Vision shows she’s good, but the bitch put him through concrete for trying to protect her.

And that’s ANOTHER issue. Not only did she just kill people with the powers she picks and chooses when to have control of, Rogers actively encouraged her to NOT ACKNOWLEDGE WHAT SHE DID. Accident or not, you killed them and they want you to pay the price, ESPECIALLY because she’s illegally an Avenger because she’s not even in America on a visa! Why does everyone overlook this.

And my next issue is Rogers. In one of the trailers, they have him and Thanos (wearing the gauntlet) pushing each other. With equal force.

Let me explain what I told my friends. Officially, Rogers is ranked a 3 on the strength charts, meaning he is at peak human strength. Spiderman and Bucky rank 4 and the Hulk ranks 7, putting him on god level because his strength is equal to how pissed he is.

Thanos, WITHOUT THE DAMN GAUNTLET, is a 7. But they have him acting like he’s STRAINING in a power struggle with a rank 3! Unless he’s playing around or lulling them into thinking they have a damn chance, I don’t like it.

I’m sick of fucking Steven Grant Rogers (because that’s his movie name) being overhyped just because he has the American flag on his damn uniform! Same issue with Natasha or Natalie or whatever her fucking name. At the end of Civil War, they have her talking to the council saying how they know they need her for the war.

But what use does a fucking turncoat spy who’s loyalties change with the wind have in a war against the Mad Titan?! NONE, absolutely nothing! She’s useless. I could understand taking Wanda back for the war, but Natasha serves no purpose, but we’re supposed to be like oh, look a woman that knows her worth.

Everyone keeps saying that I feel this way because I’m Team Iron Man. And you know what, I AM Team Iron Man, but not because I like Tony. No, it’s because Cap’s team is full of hypocrisy, unethical and immoral practices, and DEATH!

If I was a background character and I had died, they’d tell my family it was necessary or unavoidable. If I supported the Accords like the 117 nations who’s people did because I was scared and angry that these so called ‘heroes’ got off free for doing illegal shit, Steve would say the safest hands are his, the same motto Hydra used but with different words because it’s ok if it’s Captain America killing us because we can just blame Tony.

Heroes facing real world consequences my fucking ASS. Especially when you realised Carter is CIA, right? But the unit sent in was the German Strike Force, who used a FLASH GRENADE even though it’s blatantly clear that the building is empty and if they wanted him dead, it’d be easy to do it. THIS OVERHYPED SOLDIER WHO SAYS HE’S ALWAYS RIGHT ESCALATES FUCKING EVERTHING!

But I’m supposed to lile him? When he let Hydra on his team willingly? When he trusts someone he knew for a MONTH more than he trusts his teammate whose money he uses for everything, including finding the man who killed said teammate’s parents?

Marvel is just pissing me off. I shouldn’t be more into fanfictions than rewatching the franchise I’m normally obsessed with. Why are the fanfictions more realistic than the movies? They’re even making me not like Black Panther anymore and that’s my favorite comic book series EVER!

They literally have a king undermining the Accords his father DIED PUSHING, housing the same criminals that caused civilians to push for the laws. Bucky, I get, but a KING wouldn’t do the rest of that crap. I want his sister to slap him or his people to revolt when they find out because that’s some shit.

Why is Marvel doing this to me?!

Rant update, I was forced to wat h the movie and everything I predicted: past actions were ignored, characters against Team Cap suddenly agree with him, and I got to see Wanda suffer.

Can someone explain why Rhodey lost all the development and sensibility he had before in supporting the Accords to happily letting thieves into the Avengers Compound? Suddenly everything that happened before is ignored almost completely like their awful actions before were acceptable.

Infinity War isn't the first Marvel movie where the villain won.

Captain America: Civil War is.

Zemo's goal was to tear the Avengers apart from the inside, right?

And he succeeded

And the Avengers broke up. Like a band. Like the Beatles.
