Ultimately, the universe doesn’t care about us. Time doesn’t care about us. That’s why we have to care about each other.

Don’t seek, don’t search, don’t ask, don’t knock, don’t demand – relax. If you relax, it comes. If you relax, it is there. If you relax, you start vibrating with it.

I feared being alone more than I feared anything else. And the reason I feared being alone was that I had never felt right with myself - didn’t like myself, appreciate myself, or even love myself enough to be comfortable with my own company.

Lonely is not being alone. It’s the feeling that no-one cares.

It took me a long time not to judge myself through someone else’s eyes.

The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours. It is an amazing journey, and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

When nobody else celebrates you, learn to celebrate yourself. When nobody else compliments you, then compliment yourself. It’s not up to other people to keep you encouraged. It’s up to you. Encouragement should come from the inside.

You’ll likely end up disappointed if you think people will care for you the way you care for them. Not everybody has your heart.
