Are flash tattoos cheaper or the same as if you ask for a specific designed piece?

I’m sure it depends on the size, detail, and subject matter of the custom piece. I’ve never gotten a flash nor am I a tattoo artist so I’m not the best person to ask :(

A lot of artists tend to have flat rates on their flash so they just charge that instead of giving you an hourly rate. But as always it depends on the shop/artist.

Yes they do. If you were serious about tattooing you'd get an apprenticeship and only tattoo real skin under the supervision of a experienced artist after you've gone through plenty of training.
