Few hours from now and it's gonna be 2017. I have this jar full of awesome memories that happened throughout the months (well I haven't quite documented some of them actually bc i lost track of it). But to be honest, I really can't contain how blessed, how loved, how grateful, I am this year. And I know there's gonna be MORE of this for 2017. 💓

Thoughts on a Christmas Eve *and this random photo I got from Pinterest* : i miss receiving fancy Christmas cards. I miss those days wherein people are so less preoccupied with their phones and what's happening around the internet. I miss real conversations. Those that just sprought out of nothingness, looking back to those good old days of innocence and simplicity of things. I miss staying up late drinking to a cup of hot choco and watch Christmas movies at home with relatives. I miss setting up the Christmas tree and laughing about the thousands of ideas you think of but stick to the traditional green Christmas tree. Oh you know, I just miss how things used to be.

I remember that afternoon when I took this photo. I was so weary and frustrated that day. This week was pretty much rough and tiring too because of certain things that happened lately. But God reminded me tonight of this verse from (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. #refreshed
