this is my side blog for all things relating to my pagan and (neo) Druid studies and the like. I'm a Queer and Trans, 30 y/o white american (he/him). my interests are all things Gaelic/Celtic (though Irish practice has my biggest focus currently). I am interested in both reconstructive paganism, as well as neo-paganism, depending on context/situation. see @zyca for my personal blog and art, and @shrineforlugh and @forbrighid for my deity-specific shrines. I imagine this blog will be a bit of everything!

I worried a lot. Will the garden grow, will the rivers flow in the right direction, will the earth turn as it was taught, and if not how shall I correct it? Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven, can I do better? Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows can do it and I am, well, hopeless. Is my eyesight fading or am I just imagining it, am I going to get rheumatism, lockjaw, dementia? Finally I saw that worrying had come to nothing. And gave it up. And took my old body and went out into the morning, and sang.

if it helps nothing is permitted. you arent allowed to do anything. everything you do will always be able to be interpreted as, and therefore is, wrong. youre going to hurt people. you are going to manipulate people. youre going to fuck up. so what rules do you want to break? how do you want to be wrong? what kind of harm are you okay with doing to a person? what kind of manipulation is true to you? what kind of fuck up do you want to be? how do you make peace with the violence implicit in living? start there.
