Invitations for the 2020 STVBB Art Fight are now open!

No matter your creative calling, you’ll be welcome at this summer’s competition! Between Team Surf and Team Sky, you’re bound to find a fit. The application window ends at 11:59 PM (pacific) on Monday, June 15th.

The artwork above is from last year’s giveaway stream, which will once again be limited to participants only.

While we are not affiliated with Artfight.net, we encourage you to visit them to appreciate the history and hard work of the original art fight. We’re very excited to see what they have in store for 2020!

Sword of the Naaru Zealot 

Summoned by the defeated Light Matrix, the Naaru Zealot threatened to exterminate the Fel Raven Demon Hunters. However, our brave party of Blackbirds were able to stop her before she could cause any harm! As Lalaith froze her solid,the Zealot’s sword of otherworldly metal and Light fell to the ground, where it was picked up as a trophy of the Blackbirds.

On monday, 5/25, Blackbird Brewery is opening up with the fresh taste of spring to get you ready for the upcoming days of beautiful sun and warmth. Crops grown by our locals and loyal farmers are being showcased with mouth-watering vegetable based dishes and drinks sure to invigorate you and leave you wanting more–and don’t worry, we have delectable carrot cake awaiting as an after-dinner dessert!

On Friday, 5/8, Maelstrom Nightclub will be bright and colorful! Don’t wear your fancy clothes, because they’re going to get covered in paint splatters! Our DJ, Perchedon, will be mixing up music to lift your spirits and get you in a playful mood, as balloons of paint periodically are popped into the crowd to get everyone coated in color! Careful not to slip, but if you do, make sure you got a dance partner to take down with you.

Another Monday, and another day our doors open–but, with a twist! Get your lucky charms and your special dice, because we’ve got a night of winnings ahead. 

Double or Nothing night is this coming Monday (4/27), and we have an array of cards, darts, and dice for all to try their hand at; and betting pools to add to. Lucky rolls and aims will leave their night with either a pocket of gold, or perhaps a rare pet to bring home. Each table will have one of our own to instruct and oversee, so no cheating!

Blackbird Brewery is located in Rustberg Village, Tol Barad, and will have its doors open from 6:30pm - 8:30pm (WRA time). We are faction neutral, so bring your elixirs of tongues, and no fighting on the premises!

The Shackle of Aqura the Arcane-Bound

For the first time in many years, the vaults beneath Baradin Hold were unlocked. Not knowing what they would find, the bravest of the Blackbirds and their Illidari counterparts, the Fel Ravens, descended into the Fel and Arcane twisted halls.

Even the water that dripped from the walls rose against them, but the Blackbirds and Fel Ravens emerged victorious from the Baradin Vaults, baring the Shackle of Aqura the Arcane-Bound!
