What prompted such a drastic artstyle change between the og comic and the comic now 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Also since it’s no longer a pjo au could you perchance drop some lore on how things in the pjo version au comic thingy went…….. like what was up with Ollie and nemesis huh why was that a problem (I’m insanely curious and totally normal Abt Ollie I swear)
i made the og pages back when i was still figuring out a comic workflow that would work for me, and was more focused on having fun with it than trying to have something consistent. WHICH IS FINE since that was the intention of it. ive learned a lot since then and switched things up in favor of a style that could more easily lend itself to weekly updates (since thats what i want to do) without immediately getting burnt out
honestly im not happy with how the old plot was, so im not going to share much about it lol. the core themes of it-- the idea of luck vs fate and existing in a world where both gods mortals and prophecy want to control your life-- have been refined into the new story. same with the interesting aspects of oliver. his place as a nemesis kid back then still reflects bits of his character now, with him being between two extremes with luck vs fate (aka venture and corvina), and themes of balance and retribution. he has and always will be a little guy trying to juggle very big things. poorly
