Author's Postscript
From November 14,2023 to January 23,2024, The NIMH: The Final War, which took 72 days to complete, was completed. My first feeling about the work was that it was“Easy.”. My journey to finish this work is that I put all my time and energy into this work except for eating and sleeping and occasionally watching movies and comics (which is essential for the inspiration of comic books). The whole process was exhausting, but driven by a desire to create, I couldn't do anything without drawing comics. In the last three weeks of working on this comic, I was even able to get up to two Mr. Ages a day (I was pretty efficient before, but basically I was only able to get three pMr. Ages in two days). It really took up too much of my time, and finishing it meant I could relax and do a lot of things I wanted to do but was too busy making comics to do.
But it was also incredibly stressful for me, because I was by nature a careless person who was very careful about certain details, especially the work I was creating. I often look at my comics very carefully, find and correct errors or misstatements in a timely manner (given that I had never written any scripts before making this comic and that it was fast, I often found things that needed to be fixed). The completion of the comic made me nervous, and if there were any mistakes, it meant I couldn't relax and had to fix them. But as I check it more and more, I think this mistake will no longer exist, and fixing the comic may become something I never have to do in the future.
But the last emotion is... A slight reluctance to part. It can be said that although I always feel that my brush in the shape of the characters slightly thin, the lack of some can make it more in-depth shape. But in my mind they have become my companions. When I was drawing them, I always wanted to end their story, but now that the story is over, I miss them a little... But I think it's like any story in the world, whether it's a good story or a bad story, the characters in it, whether they're full as real people or thin as white paper, have an end, the day we part company with these characters. Even if I'm a little reluctant to part, I have to accept it. After all, as far as I'm concerned, my NIMH fan story is over, and I've run out of inspiration and motivation to keep these characters on the story stage. But just as my story was inspired by Don Bluth's finest work, The Secret of NIMH, and by The many fan fiction books that have also been inspired by this great work, if you're drawn to my story, moved by the characters, you can also try to write what you see as a follow-up to the story, either in graphic form or in writing.
Do you wonder why I put so much effort into creating a fan comic with so few readers? After all, personal creation on the Internet can tolerate no money in return, but can not tolerate no readers to appreciate your work. But I'm essentially a web cartoonist with a lot of work and almost no audience. But the strange thing is, while I've read many excellent NIMH fan fiction over the years, I've never had the intention of producing one of my NIMH fan comics. It wasn't until the summer of 2023, after reading a lot of NIMH fan fiction on Thorn Valley that I had never read before, that I had the idea to create my own NIMH comic story. And so, in late August 2020, the NIMH melee began. It was a complete parody of me killing The Great Owl and so on. The comic strip“NIMH Video,” which appeared in a 1986 fan magazine called“NIMH FILE,” also enhanced the technology of the NIMH Rats at Thorn Valley, enabling them to build a high-tech, futuristic underground rat city. And based on The influence of NIMH: The Final Experiment, by Marcus Lindemann, one of The best NIMH fan fiction books I've ever written, the Resurrection of my Halloween comic HE FROM Hell in 2022 by NUGELPOEP (which is interesting if you read it backwards in alphabetical order) into a monster like“The Thing.”. Brisby's late husband Jonathan became an evil dictator who led an army of Nazi soldiers. For some unknown reason, he gained a powerful and miraculous power that enabled him to resurrect Jenner as one of his own (if you've read Mal's NTFE, you'll find more interesting things). In fact, the NIMH Great Melee story was not only influenced by NTFE, it was also influenced by the story of the famous NIMH adventure game. And the NIMH adventure game that inspired Mrs. The reason for Brisby's expedition was similar. Jenner took her children, forcing her to take risks to find them. And the essence of the story is the product of my own parody. The Great Owl was killed by a self-thinking Tree called Mana Tree (here is a tribute to a friend of Mine, whose NIMH collection is in the Top 10, although I'm sure he didn't like the cameo in the story). Not only did Justin shoot the crazy squirrels with a submachine gun, but he also pretended to be pregnant to trick the guard is near him and Mrs. Brisby's cell (and the guard did fall for it...) And aunt Shrew, who took Justin's submachine gun and went Rambo crazy shooting evil soldiers, brisby's children, who fly small human planes, and Jeremy and Peoplegun, who, like Cecil and Jeremy in NIMHII, pretend to be Jeremy and cheat the forest animals (another PG of the Bastards!). The comic is an out-and-out parody, and although there are some serious and even touching scenes, the overall tone is not serious I origisnally planned my NIMH fan story to be just NIMH Great Melee, the NIMH rat base in Thorn Valley was destroyed by the explosion of the anti-aircraft cannon caused by the barrage, and only Justin and Brisby survived. After defeating Jonathan and Jenner, Justin fell into a deep depression, and he was devastated.. Mr. Ages's proposal to use his smart drug to recreate a population of smart rats. and the story of the villain Jonathan after using his mysterious power to kill eventually rebelled against his Jenner, was finally Mrs Brisby beat him with the stone, and then returned almost to his original state (but completely paralyzed and confined to bed in the care of Brisby) At the end of the story it was supposed to kill the NIMH rats, but late in the production it occurred to me that if Justin were to become. Mr. Ages, and then one day he opens the door for a visitor and sees Jenner's face on the fourth resurrection, which is going to be very interesting. But I also wanted the story to end there, with no follow-up (a strong hint that the end of the sequel was my attempt to make a sequel that looked like it, but didn't really have the contrast of a sequel). But the ending enticed me to make a sequel, and NIMH Great Melee II was born.
While I was thinking about a sequel to NIMH Great Melee, it didn't occur to me that I could make it into a comic book, more like a novel with lots of illustrations. And chose to include characters from NIMH Muck from the past that are now unknown to most people. While my knowledge of NIMH Muck is limited to the galleries of Mal and other NIMH Muck fan artists, I am fascinated by the word-based role-playing world these characters share, i was drawn to the plot between them and the characters I didn't quite understand. NIMH Muck may have been born in 1997 or a year earlier, but no matter when it was born, it eventually had to shut down in 2016 because it had too few active users. So if the clock keeps ticking, these roles are likely to be completely forgotten. So I thought I'd better leave some trace of it in my work, and I also have the temptation to let these characters, who have been made so charismatic, come into my story. Thus, the most popular NIMH Muck Villains of the day, Rapta and Balak, appear in the story as villains, and Robin (founder of the famous and important fan fiction website“Robin's fan fiction archive” among NIMH fans) and Vincent (Mal's role on NIMH Muck) and his sister Muffin (as Vincent's sister on NIMH Muck, I had misunderstood that Muffin was Mal's real-life sister incarnate on NIMH Muck. Although he does paint his family, including his sister, as mice) also appears in the story. I put all of my parody into NIMH Great Melee II. Justin defected to Jenner, freed his daughter Rapta from her cell at NIMH, and joined the remnants of Jonathan, led by the Great and savage next-year Rat Balak. Attack Thorn Valley with them and thousands of wild sewer rats recruited by Balak as cannon fodder. (by the way, Rapta and Balak fell in love with each other for their shared personalities, hobbies, and strength.). I brought Mal's NTFE missing mice from the NIMH ventilation ducts to my story, Robin, vincent and his sister, Muffin, were among the nine missing mice (the original NIMH Muck wasn't set that way at all, Vincent and his sister Muffin were supposed to be wild mice treated with smart drugs in the Thorn Valley, while Robin had a very distinctive“Sword and magic” style) , they searched for the NIMH rats near Thorn Valley, where they encountered the remnants of Jonathan's army and mistakenly believed that the NIMH rats had become militaristic. Of course, this is not an important plot point, and the misunderstanding was quickly explained by PEOPLEGUN.
Naturally,. Brisby and. Brisby arrives, and Robin meets his brother Jonathan (who is brother and sister in Old NIMH Muck) , muffin angrily pointed the pneumatic gun at her NIMH boyfriend Jonathan (who had a girlfriend before Brisby... which, of course, I made up, but not in NIMH Muck). In short, after taking out the soldiers Balak had sent to kill his former commander, Jonathan, everyone flew to Thorn Valley in a plane piloted by Brisby's children to help the NIMH rats fend off Balak's aggression. After a major battle, Balak's army was virtually wiped out. That's when Justin showed his true colors! The Automatic Rifle Jenner had given him was aimed at the Rapta. He never really took Jenner's side; he took credit for destroying them to restore his reputation among NIMH rats and return to the presidency (which is definitely the most special Justin of all fan stories). But the bullet that Justin fired at Rapta was stopped by Jenner, who told Justin he was his father before he died, and Justin was decapitated by Rapta with a sword. Aunt Shrew led the last guards of NIMH rats into a final assault on Balak base in a plane piloted by Brisby's children, and Balak's soldiers were utterly unable to resist. In the last moments of his life, Jenner gives Rapta a sapphire he stole from a female crow (Jeremy's girlfriend) with the mystical power that Jonathan gave him, hoping that she will complete the destruction of Thorn Valley for him, back to rose from the ideal. The tearful Rapta used this power to wipe out all the NIMH rat guards at the Balak base (not including aunt Shrew and Brisby's children, of course). NIMH rats face their most dangerous and powerful enemies, even the. Mr. Ages' Justinrat Head-turned-robot missile attack could not withstand the mysterious power of the Rapta. In the end, it was. Brisby, who was riding Jeremy, threw the ruby at Rapta. The ruby collided with the sapphire around Rapta's neck, sending out a massive burst of energy that turned the Rapta into a skeleton. Balak's body was also cut in half by Isabella, the commander of the NIMH Rat Guard, with a semi-automatic shotgun, and he eventually crawled to his death next to Rapta's bones. Jeremy, agitated by the lack of jewels for his girlfriend, flew into the lake to calm himself. He fell into the lake, Mrs. Brisby was saved by Mana Tree, who seemed to move. (you'll have to enjoy your cameo in this story. This time you'll be the hero who saves Brisby!).
Although the NIMH Great Melee II, like its predecessor, is based on a comic parody of the main theme, with some forced, moving action and violent, bloody shootouts. But the tempo is better than the slightly sloppy prequels. It's even a little too short to tell the whole story. One of my proudest roles may have been as president Brutus and Isabella, the head of the guard. I was particularly inspired by Mal's NTFE character Brutus, who was born speechless. In my story, he told people what he wanted to say by holding up a sign with a message on it, but that didn't stop him from being elected President of NIMH rats. Isabella, on the other hand, becomes brave and kills all her enemies with a shotgun (as opposed to her husband Brutus, who becomes cowardly...). If I were to judge the most comic of my NIMH fan comics, the first would be the NIMH Great Melee II It's a really good comic, with all kinds of dark humor In which Jonathan and Balak's soldiers are typical of the comic-book caricature of the very dangerous but slightly comical, goofy soldiers. and at the end of the story, I also forced a love story for PG and Robin and marriage (although his married life... hard to watch...). To Be Clear, NIMH Muck's Robin has a husband and even a son. I suppose it would be presumptuous to arrange a marriage between PG and Robin, the owner of Robin's character may also be less than happy to have his character featured in someone else's fan fiction (one NIMH fan fiction author has“Maliciously” put Robin in his own bad fan fiction). So even though it's been more than 20 years since the Robin character's owner had any contact with the NIMH fan community, the character has been forgotten by NIMH fans for years. But I'm sorry I took the liberty of including Robin in my fan-fiction story. In fact, I added these old NIMH Muck characters to my story in the hope that they would reappear in front of NIMH fans, even though I don't have many NIMH fans to read my fan comics...
After the NIMH Great Melee II, I've been thinking that maybe I should do another NIMH fan comic, make up a trilogy, my Own NIMH trilogy of comics (which is why the names of these comics put NIMH in the first place). I'm going to add some very interesting characters from NTFE, like Brendan (who is also Cynthia's boyfriend in NTFE) , who is also a character from NIMH Muck, which Mal wrote into NTFE, and pretty well played.
The story begins with the premise that an unsuccessful murder may trigger a war between the Thorn Valley Colony and the Grey Mouse Colony. The suspect is Teresa, the suspect is Nestor, the colony's leader. Nestor's son, Brendan, worked with Cynthia and Timothy on the murder investigation. They found and disassembled the bomb that the killer had planted at the Christmas party. It turned out that the killer was Justin, a cleaning robot! He planned to set off a war between the two colonies by detonating a bomb when the leaders of the two colonies shook hands together. So that he can rely on his robot body to fight in the war, he can restore all his previous reputation. Eventually, Justin was sentenced to death by electrocution, but... Mr. Ages used Justin's hair to clone a new Justin, who only he remembered from his days in the rose bushes. The new Justin is happy to be a regular guard in Thorn Valley, keeping NIMH Rats safe. And the two NIMH Rodents colonies will always be at peace with each other. This story was the height of my parody, and Justin became a villain... (I don't think there will ever be any plot by NIMH fan fiction writers.) But after I finished the first page, I realized I wasn't really good at this kind of detective work. So, I had to think of a new story, a story I was more motivated to do, but also more profound story.
A war story between the last surviving human survivors of a nuclear war and the burgeoning NIMH Rodents.
When I started reading a lot of NIMH fan fiction in the summer of 2023, I began to imagine NIMH fan stories that I hadn't planned before (although at the time I preferred the graphic novel format, such as NTFE). Many of the assumptions behind this story come from NTFE, where NIMH Rodents, for example, receive injectable drugs at NIMH that can“Infect” Smart“Smart viruses” in wild animals that are exposed to them for extended periods of time. And the Thorn Valley Colony, like NTFE, lives in a tree (Mal's world was so fascinating that I had to use his design). In the first part of the story, NIMH Rats in Thorn Valley learned over the radio that there was going to be a nuclear war between the United States and the Soviet Union, and Thorn Valley was within range of a human nuclear bomb, so NIMH Rats began to move to a safer place. The next story is about the proletarian uprising in the United States that resulted from the nuclear war. The United States was divided into Reds and Whites and began a fierce class war. There are descriptions of a weakened American government that had to rely on a bandit-like army under the command of an independent warlord General to suppress the uprising, this army took pleasure in killing mainly black people of color (they would also kill Red Whites, but black people would be killed regardless of class or color). The story will allow the classless and privatised NIMH Rodents to witness the brutal class struggle, and to view it in terms of intelligent animals that are not born with the same sense of ownership and slavery as humans. NIMH animals will also use more practical technological weapons (not the modern firearms of my comics) against human bandits or American white soldiers trying to break into their territory. It would also adopt a human orphan (which leads to the interesting thing about humans who grow up in NIMH Rodents communities). NIMH Rodents may be inclined to collaborate with the proletariat of the human revolution, and to engage in such contacts and collaborations.
The American government, which had hosted the exiled Soviet government overthrown by the revolutionary workers of the Soviet Union, was prepared to use its last nuclear weapon to annihilate the proletarian internationalism in the face of the surging workers' revolution all over the world. And the revolutionary proletarian regime, also armed with nuclear weapons, can guarantee the inevitable mutual destruction of the human master class and the human slave class. The end of this story I never thought of, or perhaps the story will be a revolutionary human slave class and the human reactionary master class mutually destroyed, the world is left without class, there were never private and slave NIMH Rodents and their adoptive human survivors. Without the imperfections of human civilization, they will create a new and brighter future on Earth.
The second story, which focuses on human society after nuclear war, is more ambiguous. The first part is the same as the last one. It's just that. Brisby and her children and, of course, Justin must explore the city where the last humans gathered after the nuclear war. There, the original racial oppression was reversed, with the black race enslaving and oppressing the white race, known as the Neanderthal hybrid, on the grounds that it was purer. And Mrs. Brisby's two children and a young rat will take care of a human orphan in the forest. This story is not the same as the first story nuclear war caused chaos, more similar to the stereotype of Nuclear War after the Savage World of design.
And Then There's NIMH: The Final War. The impressive artificial intelligence of Alis in NTFE and the role of Simon, the webmaster of Thorn Valley, on NIMH Muck. Simon joins the story, there's also Leon, the lead character in Leon's Journal (also a character in Old NIMH Muck, and an homage to“Leon's Journal” in My Story) , which is also at the top of the list of best fan fiction. Part of the story follows the third story I had in mind, with a mysterious figure hiding in the Thorn Valley who sabotMr. Ages and assassinates and frames others. The story also adds to the assumption that NIMH Rodents care for human orphans alone and for humans who live and grow up in NIMH Rodents. The story centers on a five-star American general who survived World War III. Breck and his men are the villains, wearing gas masks and full-body suits, and using a very strange type of automatic rifle (a model that never existed in real life). Breck is the colonel behind NIMH's Dr. Schultz's Smart Drug Experiment. He became a five-star general during the world war between the two capitalist camps of China and the United States. He believed that the human race was nearly extinct and could not reproduce because of nuclear radiation. So all the survivors have to do is do whatever it takes to destroy the intelligent creatures that are about to replace us: “NIMH Rodents”. To do this, he is willing to blow up the X-Bombs that the US government has developed to destroy the planet. He enslaved all non-soldier survivors for violating the“National Draft Law” enacted by Congress during the war, but those who knew the skills could be used as better-paid workers to repair the vehicles his cause needed. He deceived slaves and workers with the lie that man could not reproduce, so that they had no choice but to follow his cause. He sent his soldiers to track down and try to kill the last human child, Amy, who was born by a group of human scientists through tireless scientific research.
At first he intended to use Alis, an artificial intelligence created by Dr Schultz, as a spy to infiltrate Thorn Valley and start a civil war between two NIMH Rodents colonies. But Alis eventually chose to become one of the NIMH Rodents, betraying Breck and confiding his plans to Jonathan, the current Thorn Valley Guard captain. So Breck himself, sitting on a throne on the roof of a van loaded with X-Bombs, led a convoy of vehicles pulled by slaves, carrying soldiers and worker-trained recruits, to Thorn Valley, to destroy NIMH Rodents, and to detonate the X-Bombs if he came close to losing the battle. The Thorn Valley Guard, using RPG-like rockets and a mouse guard from the grey mouse colony using a gas-powered poison-needle rifle, began a brutal battle with the human invaders, with heavy casualties on both sides. Sullivan, who was not killed by Jenner's sword, was cut in half by a human bullet and died in the arms of Justin, the robot. In the end, Amy, the last human child, was taken to the battlefield by Dr. Schultz and three young mice. Amy's appearance debunked the myth of maintaining Breck's rule, causing slaves and recruits to riot and kill the soldiers supervising them. Finally, Breck, with a torn American flag in one hand and an X-Bomb detonator in the other, prepares to detonate the X-Bomb and blow up the earth! Breck was killed and his cause killed when an indecent slave fired a bullet from his automatic rifle at him. The slave drops the gun, walks up to Amy, smiles and says he knows humans can reproduce, there's still hope, and then drops dead on the floor. Dying of a gunshot wound to a Breck soldier, Dr. Schultz finally implored his creations to take care of the last offspring, the last hope, of their species and die. Finally, NIMH Rodents rebuilt the war-torn Thorn Valley Colony and found that Breck's so-called earth-shattering X-Bomb was filled with sand and that“No bomb has ever been able to destroy the earth”. The story ends with a grown-up Amy saying goodbye to her friend Cynthia, leaving the Thorn ValleyNIMH Rodents colony, which has become high-tech and active in space exploration, to carry a homemade spear to the endless ruins of her race and begin her journey to find her own kind.
NIMH: The Final War Story is one of my best so far, although many of The storylines are not perfect. The threat of war between the colonies of Thorn ValleyNIMH Rodents and the colony of grey mice, for example, was not handled well, and the story line was not well told. It ends with Nestor forcibly forgiving Alis, who initially tried to murder him but later went straight. However, Alis's statement to Timothy that NIMH Rodents do not have the“Private ownership” and“Slavery” of humans to go to war is also far-fetched. I do want to do something here that would make the new NIMH Rodents society a better setting than the old human society, but because of my storytelling abilities it doesn't work well. Alis just tried to murder Nestor, it's also a bit abrupt to turn to the NIMH Rodents side of the story (although there is some foreshadowing in the story, as Alis, moved by the friendship of living with NIMH Rodents, doesn't want to continue working for Breck, but has to continue her mission of sabotage because Dr. Schultz told her about the X-Bomb). Dr. Schultz's turn is also lacking in more detail and fullness, even if it is a slight departure from Dr. Valentine's pretense of hope rather than numbness in the human heart when he meets Amy. All of these flaws are due to the fact that I don't really want to spend time on the plot, which I'm not interested in, and I want to lead the story to a showdown between humans and NIMH Rodents. There are many plot holes in this story, and it is too much trouble to explain them all. So I'm going to focus on the more interesting part of the discussion: General Breck and his other robotic soldiers. Some people may feel that this cartoon has an anti-n tendency, in fact, the author I do not think so. I don't think Breck is just“American,” he's actually a product of capitalism. But since the United States is the representative of capitalist countries all over the world, you can also think of them as products of the United States. They are war junkies, born out of a mad world war between the two camps of capitalism, China and the United States (today Chinese society is virtually identical to American society, and both are capitalist societies that put money first and put the market first). The Mad World War led to the world's large-scale workers and soldiers of the uprising directly led to the human“Master class” and“Slave Class” broke out to destroy human civilization“All-out nuclear attack. They loved it, and their loyal country was no more. In order to find a purpose for themselves that will allow them to survive, they see NIMH Rodents as their own enemy, and as their own goal, their own career. And Breck is so obsessed with killing“Amy,” the last son of humanity, that I deliberately made Breck so determined to kill her in order to make the plot more relevant to the future of humanity, there is a side to the human system. Breck enslaved people for reasons he had not done for his country in the past, but also for reasons that the human race could not reproduce, so that people lost hope and followed his cause numbly. I was a little pleased that Amy ended up setting up a hopeful slave and recruit riot that brought down Breck and his soldiers.
In fact, I don't want to cast Breck as a stereotypical warlord and tyrant who rules a society with distinct hierarchies, where even labor is divided into slaves and workers according to their contributions to the cause. Breck is kind to its workers and treats them fairly well, not only by providing better food but also by giving them better rewards when the work is done (albeit with the intention of making them work harder). And offers him the opportunity to become a recruit to fight for his cause to preserve the sanctity of humanity. It didn't matter if he didn't want to go to war, he was just transferred to slavery. But he also divided the Society of the last human survivors into several classes according to some sort of rule. The person with the best position and the best life is him (Dr. Schultz's salary is unknown, but he should have been fine before he was transferred to work) , here are the workers who did not join the army during the war but were able to live a fairly normal life with some technical ability, and at the bottom are the unskilled slaves who did not join the army during the war. They eat disgusting food, live pigs and dogs than the life, engaged in work like livestock, life and death only in Breck. And it's the soldiers in gas masks that keep the whole society going (I don't know how soldiers eat, their gas masks are sewn on their bodies, maybe they're pumping nutrients into their bodies like a potion) , they are robotic soldiers who obey Breck Absolutely. Breck speaks passionately, but the nature of society is negative. The slave goes without saying that the worker may not want to rebel against the Breck just for the sake of his own survival, and the soldier is essentially a man who has no choice but to obey the Breck. The very nature of Breck's cause is also an outright absurd lie, essentially a self-deception. Even the so-called earth-destroying X-Bomb was a lie. It could be said, Breck, that they were the last pillar of a collapsing civilization of human slavery, and that Amy's presence had shattered that pillar, pieces fell from the ruins of human slavery. And Breck, the last ruler of mankind, was shot by insurgent slaves.
Speaking of my favorite character, that is the last human descendant "Amy". She is the most important character in the story. She starts out as a small, frightened girl. But eager to protect the people around the power, finally also took up the gun to kill the enemy. And her greatest strength should be her identity as the last child of mankind, she represents a new hope for mankind. Breck, who had never met her, regarded the little girl as the most dangerous enemy after the NIMH Rodents. He kept trying to kill her so that the people he ruled wouldn't believe his lies when they saw her, when they saw the hope of "New", and stood up to his tyrannical rule, which meant"Old". But in the end, the light of hope in Amy shone in the eyes of the people Breck ruled, shattering the lies that Breck had used to rule them, and filling their numbed hearts with a glow of Hope, rise up against Breck's rule. The story ends with Amy, educated in the Society of Thorn VALLEY NIMH Rodents, determined to leave Thorn Valley and search for her kin in the ruins of her race. But this does not mean that new humans will separate from NIMH RODENTS, and Amy is determined to build a future in which the two intelligent species are treated equally and work together. From the old decadent status quo, to a new and brighter future. It is also the core spirit of the original novel and movie. It is also the core spirit of many NIMH fan fiction. The theme of such a story has its own eternal vitality, for the future of mankind forward to provide a continuous spiritual food. Because this is what we need in reality, and even demand. Fictional stories, in any case, reflect the human reality of what we need to create and read them, and what we seek in reality is constantly being fed into the fictional stories we create. This is probably the primary motivation for every storyteller to create a story. It's also my main motivation for writing. Like all of you, I also put my dreams that I can not achieve in reality into the story of my brush. Even if these stories are fictional in the final analysis, but still gives the deep reality in the quagmire of our forward momentum. Interestingly, at the end of the story, I had envisioned an adult Amy as a somewhat introverted young woman, somewhat silent after the deaths of Martin and Brandon. But she still made her way to the human ruins and began her journey in search of her people. But in practice, she becomes more tenacious, independent and powerful. Without the introverted personality I had when I first conceived it. Into a leader-like existence, leading a completely lost human to a common life with other intelligent creatures, common to the future of the road. Was it a problem with my character, or did the character suddenly come up with his own ideas and change as he chose? I'm afraid I'm more of the latter, and Amy's character has changed. How exactly Will Amy, the future leader of humanity, lead her kin in the ruins of her own civilization, and how will she lead her kin to work with NIMH RODENTS, how will they cope with any future problems and disasters? I'm afraid the answer lies in the reader's imagination.
This story is also a post-apocalyptic work, but I wanted to create something different from other post-apocalyptic works. For example, the beauty of nature after nuclear war (I firmly believe that nuclear war was never powerful enough to destroy nature, and the fact that it took place in the exclusion zone at Chernobyl tells us that it was not a desert under nuclear radiation, but perhaps a beautiful nature) , and the X-Bomb that could blow up the earth, at first it was a bomb that could actually destroy the earth. But then I thought it would make the story more dramatic if the bomb was also a lie. Moreover, I feel that human power is still too small for the earth, “No bomb can destroy the Earth.”.
The story was also influenced by the first screenplay of the fifth film on Planet of the apes that didn't make it to the big screen. This is a wonderful story of the script, but unfortunately not realized for the film, the film is not so good story... The whole idea of Breck and his motorcade came from the unrealized screenplay of General Nimrod and his motorcade. In honor of the Old Planet of the apes five, I named the human villains in this story after Governor Breck in the fourth, both of whom are hard-line human rulers who are fiercely hostile to other intelligent creatures. Interestingly, when I read the unrealized screenplay in the early stMr. Ages of production, I thought maybe I should name the general after Nimrod, and then I remembered that the name already belonged to“Breck.”. (if you want to read this movie script that never came to fruition, click on this link and scroll down. Trust Me, this screenplay is definitely more interesting than the movies we've seen.)
As in previous works, there are plenty of NTFE and NIMH Muck characters in this story. Such as Brendan, and Nestor, who seems to exist only in NTFE (I don't really know if that role exists on NIMH Muck). Whereas Brendan in NIMH Muck is. Mr. Ages' grandson, Nestor, of course, Brendan's father, became. Son of Mr. Ages. And then there's Gabriel Baudouin Charles Marie, the NIMH Muck Character Doctor in the NTFE (he was a very short rat in NIMH Muck). The best, of course, is Simon's NIMH Muck role as webmaster at Thorn Valley. Simon's favorite NIMH character is Timothy, and in many cases he even sees Timothy as an avatar of himself. So I set Timothy and Simon up in a very moving (if far-fetched, but life-and-death kind of way) scenario. I even made my character in the comic book Peoplegun, a useless, incompetent, conceited, repulsive character like myself, a hero, i saved him and Robin's son Darian (Darian is Robin's husband's name on Old NIMH Muck, and I named PG and Robin's son Darian in honor of him). There's a lot of emotional sustenance in this comic, and I'm essentially a realist who hates virtual world games. But I yearn for the once-great NIMH role-playing community. For me, that place may be as familiar and comfortable as home. But the NIMH role-playing community is gone, and I can only project that yearning into my comics. And having these NIMH Muck characters appear in my story is a sort of memorial to NIMH Muck that I never really met.
Throughout my reading of NIMH fan fiction, both good and bad. There is a hope for NIMH Rodents and the Brisby family that they will build a new society that is more egalitarian, loving, beautiful, and full of friendship and kinship than our own, to place our own hopes, desires and loves on them. At the heart of the novel and the movie is a group of special people, hunted by powerful and mysterious enemies, who are breaking away from their corrupt old ways, and a loving single-parent family with whom they are close and help each other, to build a better, purer future together. That's why this story is so fascinating, so captivating, and has produced so many great and terrible fan fiction. Living in an imperfect, imperfect, unfair, and egalitarian society, we put our hopes and desires in the hands of each and every one of our fellow writers, whether elegant or vulgar, or wonderful, or platitudes, or plump, or flimsy ways of describing it in our work. That's the spirit of the fan story. But that's the end of my NIMH fan story. I also need to put more into the reality, the creation of our society more pressing needs of the story works. Sure, maybe I'll make some PG stories about NIMH Rodents in Thorn Valley someday, but there won't be any more. After all, FAN's work can not be counted as your work after all, inherited from others to write the story is not as good as their own story. I still want to continue to create, create my own story, to express what I want to say to the world.
Just as there was so much in my comic book story that I couldn't create, this article couldn't finish what I wanted to say even if it was close to 10,000 words. But there comes a time when even the best of articles have to come to an end (and it's nonsense articles like mine) , and that's the end of this article. But I have to thank the authors of the original novel, the filmmakers, the countless NIMH fan story writers whose names I know and don't, and the former role-players on NIMH Muck. Without your hard work, your interest, your love, my comics would have no reason, there is no incentive to imagine them in my mind and turn them into reality on paper and screen through my hands.
Special thanks to the readers who have read this, for noticing and reading all of my imperfect stories. Given that I'm essentially a web cartoonist with no readers, it's a good thing that you're reading this, and I'm going to cherish it.
