I had the pleasure of meeting Leonard Nimoy a few years ago at a Star Trek convention in Las Vegas. I got to take this photo and had him signed my Wrath of Khan poster(one of my favorite movies of all time). One my favorite memories from that convention was watching Nimoy and Shatner reminisce about their friendship over the years on stage at a Q and A, the best being a series of stories where Shatner would daily hide Nimoy's bicycle on set in more and more elaborate ways. You could tell he'd really lived one heck of a life being an accomplished Actor, Director and Photographer...not to mention Musician(gotta love that Bilbo Baggins music video from the 70s). We lost one of the greats today for sure, but the millions of people he helped inspire to be better people will never forget him. "Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most.... [voice breaks] human." RIP Leonard Nimoy and thanks for everything. LLAP
