The other day as I was trying to figure out how Japanifornia would come to be, I settled for some kind of colonization even where Japan found itself on the West Coast. Yeah, Lamiroir doesn’t want to reveal herself as their mother yet. But those two reveals don’t have to go in tandem! Phoenix himself realized the two were siblings a while before he had even met Lamiroir. He can easily do the sibling reveal now and the “Thalassa’s still alive” reveal later.

Telling the two of them that Trucy’s mother had another child before Trucy and that Thalassa lost track of Apollo and Phoenix recognized him later because of the bracelet doesn’t give away that Thalassa didn’t die in the accident.

Maybe you could argue that if Trucy and Apollo found out that Apollo’s bracelet belonged to Thalassa, they’d be able to recognize Lamiroir if they see her bracelet. But if they actually found out about Lamiroir’s bracelet, a connection would be obvious anyway because Apollo has an identical bracelet so they’d at least know that Lamiroir and Apollo were related, and it wouldn’t be to hard to make the rest of the connections given that the bracelets help with Perceiving, a Gramarye-specific ability.

it just seems to me that the longer Phoenix puts off telling them, the more credibility he loses. There’s a very good chance Valant knows, and it would be a bad look for Phoenix if the deadbeat uncle told Trucy and Apollo they’re siblings before Phoenix himself. Honestly, Trucy herself might have figured it out at this point, given she and Apollo look very similar and she knows he can Perceive.

Phoenix and Lamiroir say they wants to wait for “when the time is right”, but there’s really no better time than the present to tell two kids 1) who deeply care about each other and 2) with no other living biological family (that they know of) that they’re siblings.
