    The gentle warmth of her palms against his face and hearing that endearment gives such astounding comfort. That alone sparks hope for Dax as he leans in and presses his lips to hers. There’s something about the kiss that’s tender but longing, something that says please. She can leave the state, but God, he’ll almost pray that she doesn’t leave him.

    It isn't your average kiss - not the type Sheila hoped to initiate. Which was at the bottom line, an overall tactic to prompt Dax towards some sort of newfound, mellow behavior. Sheila can identify chaste kisses, pecks between small everyday occurrences. Kisses that show lustful intention as well. But this is different, stirring her on the inside.    It fails to take her breath away when they separate but, it sparks this great, great remorse as her eyes linger on Dax's blue ones. 

   Sheila heard stories growing up. The exchange of tales are as natural in Salons as the hair those woman color, wash, and cut. Tales of women - ‘like her mother,’ doing this for her man. That for their man. Leaving college because their boyfriend was lonesome back in the city. Sheila, young as eleven, deemed it pathetic. A contrast to her mother who would defend such actions.    Could she now understand why such girls did that now? No. No. Fuck no. Sheila isn't like them. From eleven to twenty-six, she reckoned herself above those strangers.

First I was like, ‘noooo.’

Then, ‘yeeees.’

Then, ‘I’ve been writing other people atm so I don’t have muse for Sheila like that, anyway.’

Then I remember.

It’s wild how everybody who uses Candice Patton as a FC has their muse be a writer / journalist, but tbh...

Sheila existed waaaaaay before I knew who Iris West even was. I found CP’s face on insanejournal, looked up her character ( later ) and thought

    He can’t exactly fault her response, but at the same time, can she expect him to be turning cartwheels like some obnoxious cheerleader? Is he supposed to be overjoyed at the prospect of her moving across the country? 

   “I’m trying,” he manages to say evenly. Part of his omelette is starting to look more like scrambled eggs from where Dax has picked at it, never actually bringing a bite to his lips. In upset, food isn’t the least bit appealing. But that’s likely to be taken as a slight if he doesn’t eat. His mother had taken it personally when he was a child, and he can almost imagine it happening here in the present with Shelia. 

     “I know this is a good opportunity for you. I can see how much you want it. I just—” Hands rise to his face, rubbing harshly as if that’ll have some effect, and there’s a sigh heaved with a deep breath to follow. “It’s just hard. Knowing you won’t be here.” 

    She feels -- empathy. Though also lurking deep down below, lives this kind of sick joy that thrives in knowing her absence is something so important. And of course it's important - they're a couple! He loves her, and she loves--

General Appearance: “A precious cinnamon roll.” -- typed from the fingers of Roo themselves. But honestly, look down the fc. She’s adorable.

Personality: If a room full of teens or adults are in motion chattering, she'll be silent in the corner. If you approach her, she says  'Hello' sweetly. Avoids eye contact. You can catch her holding back from fiddling with her clothes. Lena has always been very soft-spoken. She can become vibrant and playful but, that is among only the people she trusts the most. She’s also manipulative - to a degree.But, it’s the sort of manipulation that people just brush off as sweetness. You see, even with loved ones Lena sometimes tries to play extra coy and sweet in order to achieve the material things she wants. She absolutely loves fashion. Nearly as much as she loves nature! It’s just a common fact in her mind that if you act extra nice, and ask for something extra nice: there’s a good chance you can get whatever you want.

Special Talents: She has a green thumb!!!

Who they like better: Sheila is a great mom and everything but I see her drawn to Dax more. 

Who they take after more: In ways, Lena has Sheila’s mannerisms in regards to her mischievous thoughts. But I know for a fact Dax can be awkward - in a way, she’s like the both of them I suppose.  

Personal Head canon: A third love of Lena’s is miniature objects. She never enjoyed big toys or stuffed animals. She was drawn to, Polly Pocket esque toys. Toys, Sheila claimed, her little fingers could barely hold. Lena likely has a blog dedicated to people who craft miniature items. At eighteen years old, Lena is likely a toy enthusiast? She may find this embarrassing and childish.
