E.S.G. - Sailin' da South
With the sizes of the classic car and two boats, one would assume that they're actually flying above the south rather that sailing the south. I do find it kind of concerning that the boat in the upper left-hand corner is leaving behind trails of oil, which is particularly foreboding of the BP oil spoil of 2011. But I do like that the members of E.S.G. have apparently found a way to make an old-school Cadillac either a boat or an aircraft.

Although there's a lot all over the cover, it's too comprehensible to truly capture that vibe. Also, having water instead of fire? I guess I'll give it a past since the water makes it a literal description of the album title, but normally that would be heresy.
Project Pat - Mista Don't Play... Everythangs Workin
Don't play with Pat's money, or you may end up in the back of a trunk and dragged out to the woods to be buried. The thing is, Pat got his money and still dragged the guy out to the woods, which is kind of rude. However, if you've ever listened to his music, it's not too far off from the criminal he portrays in his lyrics.

This is a classic album, but the cover is actually unironically kind of decent. Is that a bad thing? Depends on how you look at it, but I would not have guessed it was Pen & Pixel.
Hot Boys - Guerrilla Warfare
Hot Boys have apparently declared war on the New Orleans police department. Considering how shitty the vast majority of police departments are in the United States, I would say it's probably justified.

It's definitely a mess, mostly because of the weird photoshopping, and it does contain what I can assume is guerrilla warfare, and with all of that fire, I'm certain the boys are indeed feeling hot, but it's not quite tacky enough to really push it over the edge.
Black Dave - Next Stop The Ghetto
Black Dave is apparently not a very good driver. If he hadn't been looking in the side mirror, he probably wouldn't have nearly hit the gentleman on the bicycle. I'm guessing he's using the side mirror to look at the bus that's been set on fire, which opens up another can of worms. Why is the bus on fire? Did Dave do that himself? Was he on the bus and happened to escape and get into a car? Also, the bus has the name of his record label, Triad, on the back. Maybe he's trying to escape his record label.

The next stop is, indeed, the ghetto. It's good that the sign stating that is clear, because without punctuation, one could interpret as "Next: Stop the Ghetto."

Indo G - Angel Dust
Angel Dust apparently contains guest appearances from Three 6 Mafia (accidentally entered with hyphens), Gangsta Boo (member of Three 6 Mafia), Tear Da Club Up Thugs (members of Three 6 Mafia), as well as DJ Paul & Juicy J (members of both Three 6 Mafia and Tear Da Club Up Thugs). It also contains a guest appearance from Prophet Posse, which comprised the members of Three 6 Mafia and The Kaze. Nicki Scarfo was not a member of Prophet Posse directly, but he was a co-founder of Prophet Entertainment and contributed to their music.
So basically, the guest list of this album could just say "Featuring Prophet Posse" and still be accurate.

The only thing missing is literal angel dust, unless either Indo G or Uncle Sam is high. That could cause the messy hallucination of a firey sky, as well as both the Capitol and what I assume is the Federal Reserve burning down. He should probably pick up that money before it gets set on fire as well.
B.G. - Chopper City
If I were B.G., I would not be standing and smirking in a barrage of either gigantic bullets or tiny missiles. Or perhaps this is a tiny plastic toy version of B.G. in one of those Mighty Max toy sets. It's rather low-key for the rapper who would eventually coin the term "Bling Bling," but since this was his debut album, he probably couldn't afford expensive jewelry yet, so I appreciate the honesty. Now I've never been to Louisiana, but Chopper City looks more like a run down suburb. Then again, the most "dangerous" areas of my own city look like run down suburbs as well.

No fire, no dogs, no scantily clad women. It's got a tiny bit of a cheesy charm to it, but the only thing really giving it away is the font and the list of features at the top.
Lil Wayne - Tha Block Is Hot
What did Lil Wayne do to have four cop cars and two police helicopters searching for him? I'm guessing arson due to the ring of fire, and since concrete is generally not flammable, he would have likely needed to use gasoline to create the fire. But without a can of gasoline present, there's plausible deniability that he was the arsonist. Someone could have made that ring of fire to entrap and/or frame him.

The block is literally hot, which would generally warrant at least four stars, but it's generally subdued in comparison to most P&P covers. The main messy thing is the font, the "Lil" is practically illegible and the "E" just looks funny, but it's just not tacky enough.
