It’s been a hot minute since I used my fountain pens 🤔😏😆

But this time I wanted to experiment with sketching rather than writing.

My hands are a mess😆 thank goodness it’s black ink instead of one of the reds!😳😆

I encourage anyone who is artistic to step out of your comfort zone and try something completely different. Like I’ve said before, posting and showing your art to strangers is like walking down the street, naked.😏😉

I think it’s beneficial to stretch and contort yourself artistically.

I was so fearful at starting a watercolor, letting it dry, and then continuing on. I always felt I would screw it up.

Now I feel more confident moving forward.

I also have a pad of Yupo synthetic paper, so I’m experimenting in watercolor with that. It’s the last pic in an abstract style.

The 4 pack is all watercolor with Caran d’ Ache Neocolor 2 accents except for the one on the upper right, that’s just watercolor. 😁

It’s definitely quite a change from oils. So we’ll see where this takes me. 😉😁😆😆😆😆😆

Oh yeah, and the last photo, something to look forward to this afternoon and tonight. 🙄🤨😉
