The sheepdog and the sheep, on a sunny day you could see tails wagging while two fluffy friends are playing out in the field, a bond tied since they were just a pup and calf.
Running across the meadow together with a laugh, a game of catch and chase back and forth they went, it was heaven- even the dandelions they disturbed fly off with the doves above in a track like below.
Oh how the day goes by, their fatigue continues to grow- but persistent as ever they play especially the dog, and before they know it the day and it's bright blue sky grew covered in dandelions and wool. When it was the sheep's turn to give chase there was nothing behind the dog, that was left a fool.
In the distance all that can be seen for the dog is a sheep and all that can be heard is a howling wind, then- for the sheep they heard rushed steps grow louder and louder, yips, yaps and barks unanswered, the sheep unmoving, panting- and even getting rammed into by a wagging dog and a... Nip-
before you know it- there's a snip, a bond cut, what laid before the pasture is a bloodied wolf on the ground and a scared sheep, a kick to the heart- a sheep left to fade in teary eyes as they depart, their mistakes were already made.
It was sunny, now the wool ridden sky feels suffocating, not unlike a muzzle, self imposed yet unlocked, now there are no nips, yips, yaps or barks, how foul... Now only the wind can howl.
