To be told that he was doing nothing when he was going out of his way to find the money for Himari’s medicine… it felt extremely unfair. As a Takakura, he should have been used to that feeling. However, for Himari’s sake, he would do anything, he would endure everything. 

“The diary isn’t in Oginome Ringo’s hands anymore.” Considering how their lives progressed, it became clearer each day that retrieving both halves of the diary was becoming more and more of an impossible task. Plus, the two diary holders should be in Tokyo right now, miles away from them. ”Moreover, you still didn’t tell us if it really is the Penguindrum or not.” 

“So, your answer?” He urged. For once, could the Princess just give the brothers real answers for once?

Yeah, some form of direction would have been nice. They were running on some sort of time limit, weren’t they? Unless…not even the Princess knew exactly what it was.

They couldn’t be expected to present her with random objects in hope they held some sort of magical property that would benefit both she and Himari.

“Oi, Shoma we don’t have much ti—” Before he could even finish his sentence, everything before him shut down. Lights out. There was no warning to what was happening to him, but when he was finally allowed to open his eyes again, everything became clear.

The situation was clear, but still panic inducing as ever.  

“Are—?” Both he and his brother were tied.

“Are—?” The decor all around them were a confusing maze of train lines.

“ARE——?!” And their sister was acting outrageously once again.

That one detail was not exact. It was that one same Princess using Himari as her shell. The elder brother could probably count the number of times that he was able to meet her on both hands, but every time, his heart could never rest still and accept the spectacle happening before him.

“You again?” Now calmer, he finally spoke up to her. Considering how Himari was still alive thanks to that Penguin hat, the brothers owed all their thanks to the Princess, but her appearance never brought good news. ”What is it now?”

One minute they were going to “visit” Sanetoshi, the next…

They were restrained atop a Teddydrum.

Talk about unexpected events. The reason for their meeting was a mystery to him too - he’d been trying to find the Penguindrum, doing his best to find ways to extend her life.

Yes, they should have been more appreciative of the princess, but between the insults and dire straits - she really never had anything good to say. It was seriously hard to find anything good about being forced into this plane of existence.

Thus, surprise quickly faded to impatience. “We already know…” Not that it mattered. They were going to get chewed out, like every other time.

The two brothers were as bothered as ever, and if anything that only made the Princess want to snicker outloud. Had their not been more pressing matters to address, this would have been so. However, it seemed their was something she needed them to know and needed to know herself.

The loud clanking of mechanics strummed mercilessly as each segment would pertain to their job and only that job. Clicking each body to the next, preforming a tasking job of propping up beautifully made glass case. Which opened at once, revealing a robotic bear. Whose stomach would protrude revealing The Princess of the Crystal.

Her presence and entrance had been made at once, and then across from the one bear appeared another. A pink staircase extending out, clicking as it attached to the other.

"IMAGiNE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The pink staircase then opened, each step revealed along with a note sounding much like a harp. With each stair revealed, the note strummed and together it sounded beautiful in unison. However, reaching the end to of it's path the black robotic bear's own stomach protruded. Revealing the two brothers Shouma and Kanba wearing both ankle and wrist restraints.
