We’re way too different; she’s almost mythical but I’m as real as death.” She walked around, observing her new surroundings, leaving the Captain behind. “I’m just a human; nothing really fancy. I’m completely harmless I assure you…” She said aloud and soon trailed off as she found the stairs that led to the ship’s deck. “Do you mind if I-” she pointed to the stairs.

Jack’s brow arched immensely high when she implied she had met Tia Dalma. “Have you met her, then? Face to face?” Such meetings were rare. Tia Dalma wasn’t always available to visitors, at least, not often.

He gave a dark chuckle. “Death has found even she cannot beat me, love. So that suggests you aren’t very real after all.” His charming grin gave way to a nod when she asked about the stairs. “Very well. The view is better up there, after all.”

As she reached the deck she looked around, looking at anything and everything. She breathed in the scent of the sea, feeling rather relaxed. She waited for him before she replied. When she was sure he was close she spoke, "No, I have never met her and I don't think I ever will." She looked at him, knowing what happened to Tia Dalma. "And I think you know that."

She walked a few feet away from him then looked back. "As for death; it's real. You cheated that's why you're still here; still in one piece," she paused. "Or maybe luck is on your side. For now." she said with a smile. She turned away and walked ahead,"You're mind's giving you away, Captain," she said aloud, chuckling to herself.

Next time you come home for the night and you start to put your keys away, think of this: It’s a security alarm system that you probably already have and requires no installation. Test it. It will go off from most everywhere inside your house and will keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset it with the button on the key fob chain. It works if you park in your driveway or garage. If your car alarm goes off when someone is trying to break into your house, odds are the burglar/rapist won’t stick around. After a few seconds, all the neighbors will be looking out their windows to see who is out there and sure enough the criminal won’t want that. And remember to carry your keys while walking to your car in a parking lot. The alarm can work the same way there. This is something that should really be shared with everyone. Maybe it could save a life or a sexual abuse crime.
