Sunday wasn't quite used to the time change from Penacony's, well, honest lack of care for it, to The Astral Express' day-night cycle yet, but even so, he didn't need a clock to tell him it was late. He silently thanked whoever designed The Express. With the Parlour Car in the middle, and the Party Car the third, he didn't have to risk waking any of the crew just because he couldn't sleep. And, there was the added bonus that he didn't have to interact with them in incredibly casual and loose sleeping wear he had, that was always a bit awkward.

"Ah, of course." It wasn't like Sunday was unconcerned by their absence, what with the lack of communication, more just that he was still an outsider to their group, not as close. "They are rather competent, I imagine they'll be able to handle whatever they encounter." At least they didn't know about March's state, one less concern for them.

“ I’m aware that they can handle themselves, but they haven't contacted us in over 72 hours. ” Welt brought the cup of tea to his lips before taking a drink from it. “ But I am also worried about March, and their reactions to her when they come back. ” He exhaled softly, placing the cup of tea down on the table in front of him.

"With little known of Amphoreus, it could be as simple as the people not yet having technology equivalent to ours and there being no phone signal." As Sunday spoke, he wasn't quite sure if he was reassuring himself or Mr. Yang more. "While the inverse, there were some visitors to Penacony during the Charmony Festival whose technology was further advanced than our own and they hence couldn't connect to our systems. Though, I suppose that was more our lack of advancements, given..." No. Talking about Penacony's history was hardly going to make anything better, it really wasn't the time for this. "Hopefully March can recover beforehand. If so, at least hearing about what happened, they'll have the assurance of her safety. I hope there are no lasting impacts, for her sake."

Welt was quick to assume silence from his perspective, a small smile resting on his face as he listened to Sunday talk. In all honesty, this was more than Sunday talked for a while, even if it wasn't truly reassuring (though he could tell Sunday was trying to be reassuring.) He nodded his head along to how Sunday spoke. “ Though, if you haven't heard—We went to the Xianzhou Luofu before we went to Penacony, there was no signal for us to text Himeko, Dan Heng and Pom-Pom, I doubt there was actually any. Yet, they are technologically advanced, ”

He wasn't really quite sure why he was telling Mr. Yang all of this. Or maybe with everything that had happened since the Charmony Festival, he would have just started talking in front of the first person who asked him. "It was the centre of the stellaron crisis, our mother died in the first quake, and everyone with any involvement in any family was insisting it was an unfortunate one-off, and less than ten weeks later we were living in a wasteland, you couldn't even get food and water, you didn't make plans, it was just day-to-day survival, there was never enough food for us both, for two whole years I was just desperate to keep Robin alive, she took priority because she couldn't take care of herself, and I did, I kept her alive until we were adopted, I did my job, so it was fine, my health didn't matter, it was fine."
