A headcanon for Sirius's anxious state during the period when he created his new body. He had a hard time controlling the power of his abilities, which had tripled thanks to the crystals' energy. At first, even his own shadow turned aggressively against him. Also, thoughts of banishing, long years of loneliness, phantom pain because of the fire, and a thirst for revenge gnawed at him from within. I also like the theory that Sirius committed a murder, so I think that could have cause anxiety too, but he would still believe he did the right thing for himself.
