Finally sharing my Pinup Puppies project I've been working on for a while x3 I still have 2 more to go, but I thought I'd share the first one I did, which gave me the overall idea for this: the poodle! Very much based on Georgette the fabulous pedigree poodle from Oliver and Company (anyone else watched the film?) I think she turned out super cute! What are your thoughts?

Better late than never, finally sharing my drawing of Alysa Liu! You can clearly tell she inspired so many artists. Drawings have been all over my feed, and it makes me so happy! I also obviously got the urge to draw her when I saw her routine, but just specifically loved her lil back kick at the point of ~BOOTS~, (very obvious by the background text), so that's what I drew x3 Let me know your thoughts on this illustration, and let's always be inspired and inspire other artists 💗

Long time no post! Got an email the other day saying I didn't make the longlist for the Pengin Cover Design Award 2026, so it's time to share the design I submitted! I did a cover for the Children's Fiction Category, which was for "Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle. I had a lot of fun trying to figure out what kind of cover to do that represented the book in a way children would be drawn to it. In the end, I decided to go with one of my favourite passages which was when the children travelled for the first time, and Meg describes the feeling and what she sees when travelling. I wanted to represent that in a visual way. (I also added a lil ant on the spine since it seems to be a very beloved bit in the book, too, people remember it by) I always do wonder what it is about my covers that just don't make the cut, since they can't provide feedback with the amount of submissions. Is the illustration? The design aspect? The font? I shall never know! I always learn more when I do these, at least! Let me know your thoughts on this. Would you pick this up at a bookstore or library if you saw it? 💕

Decided to draw myself and my long-distance pup friend because if I can't have pictures together, I can draw; I shall draw us together. We are both kemonomimi, one of the reasons we met and bonded, so had to draw us in some of our gear 💗 This illustration went through quite a few changes while I was creating it because I kept liking it and then not being happy with it, but I think I finally just love it as it is, so it's time to leave it be and share! This just made me want to create pup peeps. There are plenty of cat boys and girls love out there, but what about the dogs? We shall see if I get round to it. I have quite a few OCs already, and I've been wanting to draw a really old dark one I haven't visited in years. Let me know your thoughts!

Got this idea of what if they'd done Haikyuu! trading cards, but it was for the characters that went to the Olympics at some point last year, and well...here we are! I've only drawn 5 right now, but I may do more, who knows? I've wondered if I ever get round to selling my stuff, if people are still into Haikyuu enough, would they like these? Treat them a bit like Pokemón cards or K-pop photocards. Anyways, let me know what you think! I may do a separate post for each illustration cause I am quite proud of some of them.

This was my competition entry the brand Nonsense set out in November on their Instagram where you had to create something with their mascot Null! I've followed Joey (TheAnimeMan) for many years (since his corpse party Let's Plays) and I adore what he has been creating along with his team at Nonsense. So I had to enter! The idea for this illustration actually came really quickly to me, just took me a while to create because of the angle I'm not used to and finding time between work! But I'm super proud of it! I didn't win this competition, but I got very lucky where the Nonsense team liked it enough to place it in their top 10 and share it on their feed along with the other amazing artists!

I am super late to the Every Country's Miku trend but here we are! Many Spanish Miku and Irish Miku. So I went a bit more detailed. Ibicenca Hatsune Miku! It was hard to choose which one of the female traditional outfits to do but I ended up going with the "gonella" outfit with slight colour variations to fit Miku more 🥰

Here was my entry for the @foliosociety Folio Book Illustration Award 2024! Tried out a bit of a different style that I thought would better work for the short story the illustration was for, "The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains" by Neil Gaiman. I had many ideas I could've illustrated, but I just kept returning to this, and I think it turned out pretty well! I didn't make the longlist, but I loved seeing everyone else's submissions. There were so many amazing entries! Let me know your thoughts~ I'll probably do a mockup with the excerpt this illustration is based on to put on my portfolio, but I may share it here when it's done too!

"Daisy Jones & the Six" by Taylor Jenkins Reid, book cover that I submitted for the Penguin Cover Design Award 2024, fiction category. Sadly I did not the shortlist but I had a lot of fun creating this cover. Took inspiration from a scene that happens in the book, and thought it worked perfectly. There are amazing covers that have made the shortlist and I can't wait to find out the winner! Let me know your thoughts! Would you pick up the book if you saw this cover at a library? 🤗

Saw an illustrator post that with the Olympics ahead it's a good time to make sports illustrations for your portfolio and I thought why not give it a go! Soon after I saw the post Mihō Nonaka posted of her fabulous newly dyed hair on her Instagram and it was just a sign to draw her Referenced two photos she has posted on her account to draw this because I liked the pose in one but wanted the Japan uniform. I loved watching her and Alberto Ginés Lopez do sports climbing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Anyway, something a bit different hope you like it! Let me know your thoughts!

Happy Easter and Transgender Day of Visibility! 🐰🏳️‍⚧️

The sketch of a photo I've wanted to illustrate for the longest time has finally turned into now a full painting! (You can find the sketch in my feed) Really debated whether to do it digitally or paint it traditionally with acrylic paints but ended up doing it traditionally! Overall, I really love it. I did my best with the tools and rusty traditional skills I have. Like the leaves could be better, but my paints weren't opaque enough, so most just kinda blended x3 I'm still debating whether to actually submit this to the RUA exhibition, actually.

The urge to draw my OC and Angel Dust together once I fell in love with Angel Dust watching Hazbin Hotel was very strong so I had to manage to make a quick drawing of them when I had the time between other stuff. So yes forgive me for how rushed it looks and the anatomy being wonky, it was done very quickly! They have some similar lore and I just think they'd be great friends. So here is Angel helping my OC, Ángel put makeup on before going on stage 💕 Hopefully, I get to share more about my OCs soon but as I grow their stories keep evolving slightly as I keep knowing more about the world x3
