Cannot wait to get to the phase of my life where I’ve moved to a new bustling city where I know no one & I get to explore every nook & cranny & get intimately acquainted w all its cafes where I study every day & make so many new friends & have so many new experiences & just all around push my comfort zone & grow & flourish

I get that romance is probably mostly dead and it’ll take a lot to bring THAT back but. Can we please not kill friendship too. Can we please have patient & honest & loving & heartfelt friendships. Friendships that withstand miscommunication. Friendships that withstand the occasional fuckup. Not saying to tolerate toxicity, but there’s a difference between that and just being there for someone. I don’t want friendship to turn into something cold distant unforgiving commodified like I really want to think & feel & adhere to the faith that true earnest heartwarming ride or die friendships exist and we don’t have to forfeit that too

Honestly the cliche advice is true. If you fill your life w things you’re passionate about, if you challenge yourself every day, if you give your own opinion of yourself more weight than you do other people’s opinions of you, you will actually thrive. Like no one can tell u anything

its so stupid how you’ll have a dream that’s just like this horrible precision-crafted weapon of psychological terror and then you just have to get up and go to work like u didn’t just experience the apocalypse in real time or whatever

every woman 20 years older than you who you admire had to sit on the floor of her bathroom and wail more than once to get where she is these things have to happen will happen will be useful to you someday
