Nothing to see here...

How often do we actually change? We talk about it on New Year’s, on our performance appraisals at work, to our significant others, to anyone who will listen. Whenever we get a chance. But what really comes of it? Are we creatures of habit? Is our current state our permanent state? And I am not just talking about little things, I mean a serious shift in personality, in thought, in who we are at the very core. Are we too far gone for change? Or do we just rationalize our current state as acceptable? What catalyst is needed to make us choose the left over the right? Does it even exist? Can we accept it if it is staring us in the face? Maybe it’s comfort. Maybe that is why we dont change…or maybe it is another excuse. I don’t know.
