Today: waking up naturally to my 6:30 alarm, but having the option (and taking it) of sleeping in to 8:40 😬 For last night: getting crafty with Angel and Adrienne for Angel and Ben's wedding! Plus going to the food bank to get started on potentially volunteering! The night before: I don't remember now :(

Grateful to have hear baby's steady heartbeat today, a whopping 140-150 bpm

Today: having virtually nothing on my calendar but r&r, plus a quick hang with Katie! Yesterday: being gifted with boba by Lucy!

Grateful to have so many folks (including at work) to lean on and get advice from regarding pregnancy and parenting.

Standing in line at the DMV made me wonder why in THE HELL I decided to change my name. Even the appointment line was at least 10 minutes long To top it all off--my name wasn't on the list of appointments today. And I didn't have a confirmation email. DID I JUST MAKE IT ALL UP? After entering my name into the system, the clerk said, "Your appointment was yesterday; you missed it." 😱😱😱 Before I could freak out any further, he said, "what I should probably do is ask you to go to the back of the non-appointment line...but I am not." To my surprise he handed me the papers I needed and treated me just like he had treated everyone else in the line. Dude had mercy on my poor soul, and I so appreciate it! Granted I'll still probably have to wait a while to be seen, but still!!
