"What kind of day is this!?" [Yata and Lyle]
"OhâŚ" lyle mumbled, wondering if he had offended Yata in any way, he told himself mentally to find out what topics were allowed to be casually conversed, to him it was ashame that phobias went out of the window, seeing as to him, he knew of a few souls who, because of how cheerful their nature was, even though they were dead, would have found this place horrible. It was unfortunate thay he had to visit this place under unknown pretences, he imagined if it were just a place to visit, that it might be quite nice. Lyle perked up at the mention of his rowing oar âI ferry souls across to their final resting placeâ He shrugs, rubbing the back of his neck he starts to mumble âI was only given that single oar⌠it was what I was created for so it is importantâ
ăHearing Lyle talk about what he did suddenly sent alarm bells through Yata. With a frown, they began to back track the conversation. Did he say he carried souls to the other side? So he was a worker among the dead? They should have seen it coming much sooner, but werenât their own species and his not meant to get along rather well? Considering that they had had quite a pleasant conversation up until this point, Yata decided not to speak too much of it, and let their expression soften slightly. Realising they had been silent for quite a while, they piped up yet again.
âAh, I see⌠Uh.. Maybe we should have a look around the theme park as a whole⌠We might be able to find itâŚ!" That was too hasty for their own liking. "If you wan to, that is⌠Who knows, maybe weâll be able to find other lost items tooâŚ" Running a hand through brown locks, Yata found keeping up conversations with someone they werenât supposed to associate with kind of taxing. Now it was just awkward.ă
Lyle watched with a blank face as the soul before him went silent, small and insignificant emotions runnig through their face, Lyle wondered if he'd said something wrong, yet again, but soon after decided the soul was having an internal talk. "Hnn~..." Lyle replied in agreement, he knew that the soul's medicine must have been as important as his own oar if it was to be taken from them so he thought that it was a suitable option.
