Nani fell quiet. There was no arguing with Paxton's assurances, even if Nani was fighting the feeling of utter hopelessness.
"I hate that you're right…" she grumbled. Nani sighed, finally looking Paxton in the eye. "We have to at least try and do something productive or… less mind-numbing while we're stuck in here at least."
"i'll try not to make a habit of it" he joked trying to lighten her mood. paxton stared back, always silently in awe at the woman across from him. "what have you got in mind? if mrs hasagawa catches us doing the thing i have in mind we'll never live it down"
