We as a system are transmasc and using he/him pronouns for us is typically a safe choice!!

And I often think about how that’s reflective of them hiding themselves. Metaphorically and physically masking I suppose. But also not having a true sense of self. They were all unidentifiable. The face is typically the most distinguishable aspect of a person, and without eyes, without a face to reflect them, they weren’t truly identifiable as people (not to mention they were all some version of animal hybrid — so even further removed from humanity)
