I may have watched severance

My two favorite things are combining my interests and drawing over things. Sue me. Anyways am I crazy or is Adler less horrible in Bell’s “memory” (for the 30 seconds we see him that is)

an argument could be made that today (February 23rd) is Bell’s birthday, In fact i am making that Argument, Everyone wish Bell a happy birthday they deserve one too 🎉🎉

Just saw your post about Demikhov’s dog as a Bell metaphor and I’d love to hear more if you’re up for it

Of course! Bear with me here as im not the best at explaining things,

In short, the comparison is mostly that Bell as we know them is basically a separate person to whoever they used to be. A manufactured person, but a person nonetheless who was forcefully sewn onto their old self with little to no regard for quality of life. Whoever Bell used to be seems to still be there in some capacity, basically forced into being a host for the new addition.

Also adding onto comparison the longest living of the two headed dogs (i believe there was around 24 different tries?) lived about a month. Bell themself lived only about a month (estimated a bit if we take off time from when they were captured considering the team probably didn’t result to MKUltra straight away and it probably took a minute for it to really take hold)

Then of course theres also the fact that the experiment was done on dogs and as we know this fandom loves to compare Bell to a dog for many many reasons

A lot of people reference Pavlov and his conditioning experiment in relation to Bell for obvious reasons (myself included)

however would you guys see my vision if i brought Demikhov and his two headed dog experiment to the table

You know, it's very possible that Bell could've had some degree brain damage from MK-ULTRA. Many of the real world victims of these experiments suffered brain damage that affected their memory or motor skills as we know from a spate of lawsuits in the US and Canada. Ultimately we'll never know the true extent to which mk ultra impacted Bell's brain as Bell didn't live long enough.

#THIS THIS THIS #I think people tend to really minimize just how much MKUltra would’ve/could’ve done to Bell #probably unintentionally but they still do nonetheless.
