Hi guys. It's Paul. Not usually on here, but felt like I needed to get my feelings out. This year had its ups and its downs. The biggest downer was Trump being elected. Look, I get it: People want change and it didn't happen. But let me ask this: Was it worth electing this man to the presidency? No! Absolutely not. A congress of Republicans stopped change yet now they will be in power. They limit the vote in southern states yet no one is up in arms. A woman is not only the most qualified to be president, but wins the popular vote with 2.8-3 million votes yet she's not the president. A man encourages hate and he's the president. I just don't get it. Now, I have seen those who have been hurt in coal country. Companies closing because the demand has shifted to renewable, environmentally friendly energy decimated not only families, but small towns that depend on these companies to survive. One town lost a Walmart. A FUCKING WALMART! What the fuck? So I've come to the conclusion that people are desperate. Desperate to get their jobs back and feed their families. Desperate to slow down. Desperate to stop change. Yup I said it: Stop change. There's a reason why Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin went to Trump. By the way, that's not a bad thing either that people want a job. That's a good thing, but Trump won't get your jobs back. I've said that I may move to Canada if I can afford it and while that may still be an option, I realized living in NYS makes me less likely to deal with the shit Trump will rain on us these next 4 years. We will see what really happens, but my hope is we will learn from this. I can only 4 years from now our country is still hear because based on what Trump says we maybe in another World War by that time. Happy holidays guys.
