Such a colorful shot of the boats! There was so much color on the island--being born and raised in Orlando, I am not used to seeing so many vibrant colors at once.

The kids absolutely loved their new clothes and first aid kits! The first aid kits were donated by One Hope United!

Sitting on the top had its advantages! I got some amazing shots and views. It had its disadvantages though; for instance, the power lines. Every body had to duck a few times to avoid hitting them, and finally Peter said “forget this” and laid down. Remember, when life throws power lines at you, its okay to get tired of ducking and just lay down-as long as you get back up once you’re rested.      -Travis

We sat on the top. The struggle with branches and power lines was real. 

The children LOVED the balls that One Hope United donated! One Hope United donated stress balls, reusable bags, shirts, lunch boxes and first aid kits. A LOT of everything. The children went crazy over all of, chasing after our vehicle hoping we’d throw more stress balls to them (we did). -Travis

Dr. Luc waving good bye to us as we left the hotel for the day! I am truly, truly blessed to have met such an amazing man. I even had the pleasure of sitting down with he and Monique and listening to his story when we got back that night. I was exhausted, so keeping my eyes open was hard even though his story is extremely interesting. He has such a kind heart, and does anything and everything he can to help the people of La Gonave. -Travis
