I'm convinced I'm a genius... just not according to my kids

I can set up the Wi-Fi, recover forgotten passwords, fix the printer, and get everyone's devices working again, remember phone numbers from the '90s, know meaning of obscure words and reverse park first go. But because I taught my kids to be inquisitive and to be more efficient than me, I'm apparently "ancient."

The same kids who can't find their t-shirts in almirah sitting right in front of them are my biggest critics.

One day they'll realise I was right all along.

I won't say, "I told you so."

I'll just think it... loudly.

To be 40+ is to juggle with unanswered questions daily. These lines by Robin Sharma soothes my soul,

"...have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of expereincing everything. At present, you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer some distant day."
