Not only is Verona one of the most beautiful places in Italy, it’s also the setting of one of the most iconic love stories of all time—perfect for a hopeless romantic like yourself. You can walk the old-fashioned cobblestone streets, eat your weight in deliciously photogenic gelato, and look out from your balcony at night, waiting for your lover to climb up the wooden trellis and profess their undying affection. Just don’t get caught up in any ancient grudges/new mutinies—for your sake, and for the sake of students in English classes for centuries to come.

        ❛    okay,  okay  ---  if  i  don’t  get  it  right  this  one  last  time,  i  promise  this  bow - tie  is  all  yours,    ❜  she  says  with  a  chuckle,  fingers  undoing  what  was  probably  her  third  (  failed  )  effort  at  fixing  his  tie.   initially,  anya  only  offered  to  try  to  do  it  because  she  was  genuinely  curious  on  how  the  process  went,  and  she  assumed  she’d  give  up  on  it  after  one  go;  couldn’t  keep  vlad  waiting  too  long  at  the  neva  club,  after  all  (  though  she  was  sure  he’d  easily  find  some  sort  of  entertainment  while  waiting  ).   clearly  her  assumption  wasn’t  the  case,  considering  she  was  about  to  do  yet  another  ---  hopefully  successful  this  time  ---  attempt  at  fixing  his  tie.   god,  she  could  only  imagine  the  round  of  teases  she’d  be  getting  from  both  dmitry  and  vlad  if  they  were  late  all  because  of  this.

a  couple  of  seconds  later,  she  thinks  it  might  be  wise  to  just  accept  that  all  she  can  do  with  a  bow - tie  is  adjust  it  once  its  fixed.   she  sighs  a  little  defeatedly  and  pats  him  on  the  chest,  saying,   ❛    well,  looks  like  it’s  your  turn  now.   ❜   as  it  should  have  been  two  tries  ago,  she  wants  to  add.   there’s  an  apologetic  smile  on  her  face  as  she  moves  toward  him  in  his  seated  position,  hugging  him  with  one  arm  as   she  plants  a  quick  kiss  on  his  head.   ❛    you’re  never  going  to  let  me  live  this  down,  are  you ?   ❜
